When I got my wheel and played for an hour, I beat all my times with controller by 10 seconds. Does that mean anything? =P

I don't know, but i remember with GT4, i could drift on Xlink kai way better, my feints and transitions were smother and my drifts were longer.

Here's pic for proof if anyone is too anal about believing times. Beware of giant picture.
Time was done with a controller btw. :x Imma try my GT-R in a bit and see what i can do since i never tried the R32 on that course yet.

2'39 Myogi UH is damn fine. It's equivalent to a 2'35" on the downhill which is what i'm running right now -__-.

I think I know how to do a 2'32 now but need to chain up all the CPs. The arcade feel is coming back XD

One thing I can no longer do is Akina DH. Taro runs 3'00 flat and here I am stuck on a 3'08.

Also.. is Tomo = Skaction? I cant think of anyone from the NY area who plays Happo as insane as that.

I just did a few TAs since my chair finally came. Nothing too special.

Akina DHD
3'04".425 Levin AE86

Akina UHD
3'12".953 Levin AE86

Akagi DHD
2'39".9XX Levin AE86

Akagi UHD
2'41".XXX Levin AE86

Tsukuba OBD
2'52".XXX Levin AE86

I messed up in CP4 of Akina DHD and CP3 of Tsukuba.

braking is the key. brake and hit the inside early, dont tap your tail on the outside wall and you wont have a big penalty.

hitting outside doesnt give you a penalty, all it does is make you lose even more speed
the reason people get such a big penalty is from the braking, they brake incorrectly oversteer occurs and then there left with the penalty
but also you can get penalty without getting oversteer if you brake but not enough...but it rarely happens to me on 1.5 so meh

I've only gotten a couple new avatar items from TA and Battling today but nothing too special. And i'm looking at my screen right now and it froze in a weird animation as the battle started.

haha how much are g25's going for in the states?
i found some very affordable priced ones around if you need links...like $200-$300 aud so its like $20 cheaper when converted to USD
EDIT: atleast if your running a time like that with controller it means good times can be run with controllers, when i get my ps3 i wont get the wheel for a while T_T

I'm not sure if retailers actually sell them here. I've just been going by the $299.99 USD price on Logitech's website. If you could post those websites, that would be great.

And really? o.o That was a good time? xD All my hairpins seemed sloppy. The hairpins are the scariest part with the controller cause sometime i hit the outside or sometimes i oversteer too much and hit the inside. But i kinda got down the turning now. That 2'37 run was one of my rare no wall contact runs. hahaha
