I thought I was up to date, until I downloaded a home movie from my grandma and cant see any video! Anyone got a the latest codecs?

What's the lastest version ? I am using DivX Codec 5.0.2 currently, and I have no problem with watching.

C:\Program Files\DivX\DivX Codec

Try this and see if you can find the README.txt file.

hmmmm, i tried that, but stil doesnt work, I downloaded a small program to tell me what coded it was using and if i had it or not, it said i needed XviD, what the hell is this and where can i get it?

XviD? wth? Ummm . . . I use programs called Intervideo WinDvd 4 and BSplayer. They really work with anything.

i have DivX 5.0.2 Bundle, but it dont work wiht playing movies it dont work at all i think its not for XP... sleep.gif

i got DivXbundle 5.0.3 though, its like the latest one out. Screw it, i give up. I guess Ill just have to go rent my grandmas home video from blockbuster, if its out yet.
