It's drifty and less technical than 5, but I miss the grip style from 5. It kind of set one apart; now you can't drive fast without drifting. I'm by no means unpleasable, but... Yeah, I'm quite nostalgic. |

I drive that too and is it just me or is DC2 one of the slowest cars in the game? |

To think that it's once a game-breaker, eh? The DC2 isn't slow per se, but i admit that its rev pickup is a little slow. It keeps rev well, and stops where you want it to stop. Where you point its nose, it will go. IMO, it can still be an above-average gripper, but with essentially the world demanding you to drift your car... well, problematic is a good place to start. In certain courses that demands less drift than others, it can still thrive. Besides, there are more sentimental reasons why i chose to FT an MX-5 and Integra | ||

Have been playing 1-6 and i really suck. Only in ID4 i kinda did well a little and my TA times for Akagi is like 3 secs short of world ranking. But ID5 and now ID6 i really suck. Anyone wanna gimme pointers? I visit Bugis whenever i am back in Singapore and whilst working in KL i always head for 1U. Cross culture sharing anyone? BTW, discuss this abit too. No one likes the Evo 3 anymore? Dunno, I really luuuuv the FD3S, Evo 3 and GC8. Exactly in that order. Dun chio me for battle, I only live for TAs. ID3 fav Usui. ID4 fav Akagi ID5 fav Iro. |

IDW Full Member Group: Members Posts: 31 Member No.: 37,517 Joined: Jun 20th 2011 Location: Singapore and KL | ICICIC, anyways i have a card now holding 1 FD and 1 Evo 3. Both tuned Stage 2 just to try it out. FD handles well and is more predictable on corners. Evo3 man o man. Really a monster waiting to be tamed. Raw speed and really drifts like crazy so it is harder to control than the FD. I am aiming to FT both then compare timings on Usui and Akagi then IRO. these are the only 3 maps I can really remember well. (Lake Akina is a no brainer but best for training on basics so lets not talk abt it here.) Me SGP, but play in KL as well so guys please speak to me if you see me. My card IGN and my nick here is same. Bane and BaneX. Am sooooooo dying to see if someone can give me pointers. Remember ID 4 was almost all Wheel work for me, pedals quite limited. I suck at ID5 so dun even ask. If anyone wanna race me then please do stock car. Even in Singapore last year i only race using stock cars in Bugis. Met a few pretty nice fellas and got pwned big time by 3-4 drivers. Come find me ppl. Noobie waiting to be owned.(Again mention, No card pls) |

Just did my Evo3 to complete Spec 4. Starting Spec 5 soon. Finish den do my FD now still at stage 2. I tried at 1U in Petaling Jaya. I realised I really suck at Usui and Akagi. Myogi was quite alright. Please note that I am only talking about mastering the basics and not some speed demon. Guess I am not even at the level of Speed Baby yet. Working hard at learning the basics and physics of this game. Another note, Akagi is really not my home course now. I can barely turn properly for the consec turns before CP1. Car does not want to listen to me and runs too fast. I turn brake, tap and tap then full gas. But braking timing off, braking duration off too. Got a bad habit I need to break. I normally play one hand on wheel one hand on Gear. Got this from ID 4 and carried on to ID 5. ID4 i really can do Akagi well and even had a few battles on Akagi. *Sigh* Remember the good ole days man. CHerish the new and MUST LEARN and MASTER ID6AA muahahahahahaahahahaah. Love you guys. |
