Soon as one fire goes out, another one pops up, new one appeared tonight in so cal.

And I still have finals in a few days, this research paper is gonna be the death of me.

Hmmm, amp? I see no heaphones for it, if it is said amp.

Yessir ! .. it's a Scarlet 2i4 ～ it can do a little more than amp sound.

As an audio interface, it can output audio from it's 1/4 inch holes in the back to big XLR speakers. And use the two holes in the front to input mic & instrument sounds into your computer.

The headphone jack's technically just for studio monitoring .. but it does amp up the sound to pristinely beautiful levels coincidentally ～ ♩

god fricking damnit! i just saw/rewatched Initial D se4 ep 16 (for the umtheenth time) to see the FD race while trying to avoid the 18th ep and pretend all thats well will end well. like the terminal disease the show is, i wanted to see se4e17 and then i got the itch to see the show again now ive resigned myself to atleast binging se5 and 6 today .

Not really. It's just that what I've been working on for more than a year is finally seeing the light of day, so I'm pretty excited.

So due to the fires, my final's week is cancelled. Well the on-campus finals. I still have to turn in my research paper for english.

So far i'm super proud of myself.

Congrats, APX! I guess the fires were a good thing in disguise for how things turned out for you.

id hardly call that a good thing, how may people had their houses lost or threaten due to the fires? thats just mother nature going a bit crazy. all you can do is hope she doesnt swing by in your direction or pray the fire fighting services can hold her back.

I mean, yeah, it was definitely a bad thing on average, but the way things turned out benefitted APX in this case. He got lucky, so to speak.

all you can do is hope for is the best and take the rest in such situations.

Wouldn't call the Thomson fire a thing of 'mother nature' it started near a freeway/roadway so I would suspect it was the general firestarter near freeways, cigarette.

One of the fires that was put out earlier this week was already found to be caused by illegal cooking (Most likely homeless)

Just perfect timing to start a large, Santa Ana winds can't be fucked with, and there's gonna be no end of it til maybe next week.

Got a 100.1% in my math course, waiting for my english grade (Still need to turn in my final research paper) and my history course will probably be a B or mid-high 80s

forest fires are an important part of nature's cycle and humans can be in nature's way in many occasions. though that doesnt rule out those caused by humans themselves. the land is free fuel if the spark can get to it.

@tessou: you might be right there. as trump knows perfectly, "global warming" is just a lie created by other nations and scientists. maybe nature is trying to give him a taste of the future to come??

unfortunately fire doesnt care if it burns dry grass or trees.

if im allowed 1 political side note here: i guess steve bannon now knows how many Americans felt when trump was elected. his speechless look after the Alabama elections is priceless.
