It appeared nowhere else. Also, for the record, at first, I was going to use "Sledge Hammer" by King Kobra and "Domino Dancing" by Domino. But I decided against them and replaced them with the Juliet tracks. I should have cut "Extasy" too... I dunno why I went with it. It sucks balls. And I don't like Sledge Hammer and I saw that I hate it when I tried to mix it. *cue The Price Is Right losing horn* I dropped Domino Dnacing coz... that drum track is fucking ridiculous. I couldn't mix it. Also, the tracklist are decided until the end. But I could still decide to replace a song by another for some reason. So, there's no concrete yet. |

How can you like a song and hate it so much because you've heard it to death at the same time! |

🎧 Group: Advanced Members Posts: 6,594 Member No.: 18,005 Joined: May 25th 2006 Location: Canada | Heeeeeeeeeey! Surprise release! Vol.5 is out! On that note, I have to put my series on hiatus until I get a new sound card. What happen you say? Here is the gist of it. I accepted to do a simple cassette transfer job for somebody at "work" and put it on CD. So, I borrowed my friend's "boom box" and got back home with it, plugged it. I went behind my PC and plugged a male-male 3.5mm headphone jack into the line-in input of my dedicated sound card and connected the other into the headphone port of the boom box. I looked at my PC and everything was frozen. I had to force reboot. After many hours of troubleshooting, BSOD included, I concluded that my dedicated sound card decided to die after 5 years and 2 weeks of service. So, I'm stuck using my on-board sound with a 200$ pair of headphones. So, until I get a new one, this series is on hiatus. Hopefully, Vol.5 was mixed before it happened! Cheers and enjoy. But of course some are too good to pass up, wait until I get to SEB 70-90 ~~Initial D~~ My first eurobeat CD purchase was SEB 110 and I must have listened to those CDs hundreds of times!! My top 5 picks for this mix: 02. Supermaio / Atrium 04. Demolition Man / D-Essex 13. Sun City / Dave Rodgers Feat. Jennifer Batten 14. Hi-Hi Frankenstein / Frank Torpedo 16. Lost In Tokio / Tension You'll notice that I used all of these in Histoy 6 except Demolition Man which sadly got axed. This post has been edited by takumi333 on Jun 9 2016, 01:06 PM |

How the hell can I narrow it down to 20-25 tracks? All I can come up with is either make those two volumes 2 CD releases or make a 40-60 track mix! |

But do you guys vape...? ~ Great album/mix ~ Burning Love & Tokyo² need a 2016 remake with Maurizio's new alias. The zenith of the album is In the Heat of the Night @ minute 2:16 ~ ♫ This post has been edited by xiao on Jun 9 2016, 03:29 PM

One of the main reasons I mixed the Maharaja Night series, too many good songs to pass up! As far as SEB goes, we may have to resort to using: THE RaNdOmIzEr

Atrium - American Psycho Black Power - People Of The Night Dr. Money - Killer In New York Dr's Girl - Reality King & Queen - Seventies Suzy Lazy - Boom Boom Girl Valentina & Mirka - I Love Spaghetti Vicky Vale - Dancing Za-Za - Big Desire Intentional or is it the work of THE RaNdOmIzEr? |

I chose all the tracks myself. So, it's just a coincidence. I chose them all like... I was like at vol.3 or something? Yeah. And they are all chosen up to volume 24 (which, of course, cover SEB 231 to 240). Obviously, no sneak peak until the mixes release

Honestly though its probably just a coincidence I mean those are some of my fave songs from that stretch too. Well except for Seventies I prefer the Dave Rodgers version. |

I figured it was something like that. I found that this era was severely lacking in good underused tracks so I went a little further into the mainstream songs than I normally go (but since this is the start of the Initial D era it was inevitable). I'm still dreading narrowing down the songs for Vol. 9 though!
What if someone mixed the different versions of the song, what are there like 5 different covers?

But yeah Dave Rodgers would have owned it if he had made a video. Even though technically he DOES own it as he wrote and produced it but you know what I mean.

Mixmaster General Group: Advanced Members Posts: 726 Member No.: 45,197 Joined: Feb 4th 2015 Location: UCTX | Yeah there are various reasons why it took 2 months for History 8 to come out, (ie. starting and abandoning Eurobeat Destiny 2, 2 weeks of mixer's block and the 100+ degree heat we've been having everyday really slows me down) otherwise it would have been out weeks ago. Just chalk it up to a convenient coincidence. This post has been edited by takumi333 on Jul 24 2016, 04:40 AM |
