Thought I'd make a post about it. So, here's alittle about me.
I own a 2003 Cobra with 450 RWHP & 466 RWTQ.
I'm a BMW level 1 technician and MINI tech.
I race my Cobra at the drag strip, but I need to get it to the open track cuase the back roads are getting boring.
I like anime and came across Initial D about a month ago and it's really cool, so I got every DVD I could get and the PS2 game.

I took the car to Sacramento Raceway in January. The car had 750 miles on it and I kept running 13.2 sec. @ 113 MPH with a 2.2 sec. 60'
I couldn't hook for poop. This is the first car I've owned with a Manual Trans in it, my old '96 Z28 was an automatic and that's the way to go for drag racing. It was just a test and tune so they did a real crappy job with the VHT. I'm hoping to get my car down there with all the mods that I have now. I should be running low 12s on street tires, maybe 11.9s with a good launch. I just need to get my sub-frames welded in for better stability when I come off the line. Traction is at it's limit, I can't give it more than 1/2 throttle in first gear or the tires spin, and 3/4 throttle going into 2nd gear or I start doing a power slide down the road. I need to upgrade the suspension now to handle this butt-load of HP and TQ that I make now. Thank God I have IRS, it helps alittle.

looking to get a supersprint or remus exhaust for the 325i...but what would you suggest? and maybe a new ECU...looking at Dinan but those are expensive.

The E30 is a great platform for racing on the open track. I have a picture of Hans Stuck driving an E30 M3 at home.
As far as aftermarket stuff, Dinan and AC Snizcher have some very high quality product. A bit on the pricey side, but worth it. Both of those companies are the official aftermarket parts specialists for BMW. I'll ask around and see if there are any other good set-ups for E30. wink2.gif
If you want real performance, cut-out the cats and the mufflers, get a new Motronic module(ECM), make a home made CAI out of PVC pipe, and use a nylon stocking for an air filter. Or you can purchace the Individual throttle-body intake set-up from BMW and get a PCM programmed for that set-up, that would be kick ass.

You can always get some screen mesh from a home and garden store and a hose clamp and clamp it directly to the throttle body and get some heater ducting and run it in the fender well. I'm full of all the ghetto HP set-ups.

Got ID for the PS2 and Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero for the PS2. I have TXR1 and 2 on the Dreamcast, also, but the Dreamcast couldn't take it and would slow way down. dry.gif

My Cobra isn't much of a drag car, Ford designed it more for road racing, thus the independent rear suspension. wink2.gif A solid axle more efficient for drag racing, coupled with an automatic transmission, and I have neither.
