For those who had watched Ouran High and love it, the season 2 is confirmed!

Ouran High School Host Club (Japanese: 桜蘭高校ホスト部 Hepburn: Ōran Kōkō Hosuto Kurabu?) is a manga series by Bisco Hatori, serialized in Hakusensha's LaLa magazine between the September 2002 and November 2010 issues. The series follows Haruhi Fujioka, a scholarship student at Ouran High School, and the other members of the popular host club. The romantic comedy focuses on the relationships within and outside the Club and satirizes the clichés and stereotypes that endure in shōjo.

Holy shit it's an OG member out of nowhere. Welcome back.

Anyway, didn't see anything about this on ANN (odd considering this'd be pretty big news) and I wasn't entirely sure how good the source named in that image was, so I did a quick Google search. Seems this hasn't actually been 100% confirmed yet, and that all there really is so far is an offhand comment a Funi VA made at a con, so I wouldn't get my hopes up right away. There might be a 40% chance at this point though; not that it's likely, but I actually wouldn't be too surprised if it turned out Funi themselves were funding something, considering they already co-produced an anime in one of the previous seasons, and that an Ouran S2 could potentially do well in the states (or at least I've been left with the impression there's still sizeable demand for it in the US)

But yeah, don't hold your breath just yet. Wait for more news, Ouran fans.

I still need to get to watching Ouran one of these days.

Vic Mignogna (Tamaki) and Caitlin Glass (Haruhi) said at a Q&A panel at Supercon that this is not actually a thing.

As far as they're aware anyway.

Edit: Source: I was there. So you'll have to take my word for it.

Spinnee-sensei!!\(^o^)/お久しぶりだよ、俺達の吸血鬼Rockクイーン! happy.gif ♪ ♫

まだ、ガクト様の奥さんですか~? awesome.gif☆彡

Cartoon Network funded The Big O Season 2 due to the high-sheer of demand from fans in the US. Shoujo-anime/manga is a similar beast; this may be a premonition via a leaked source, but yeah... not confirmed yet.

Meteor if you like Fruits Basket, you'll absolutely adore Ouran Host Club ~ it's that good! Lemme know if you need them via non-torrents, and I'll up 'em on mega asap. It's that good. ;^D

s'fake. Or rather, the person who made the announcement was just a dub VA reading off an article that also wasn't true.

Source: Actually looking up the series in Japanese and going around the usual channels I get for announcements on new stuff.

If we all combine our powers, we can make this happen. Ouran 2 is nothing but an otaku's dream away. The powers of a weeaboo are strong enough to make this hallucinate if we all combine our imaginations and role play our fantasies within our heads. It's true. I once had a dream that I was kissing Shampoo from Ranma 1/2, when in reality I prefer Akane over any of the other girls any day! It's her tsun-tsun personality that keeps me interested in her... and I also like girls with short hair. shifty2.gif

XD i was just finding a topic to start somewhere.

I wish the news is real.

On the other hand, off topic, try out ReLIFE.
Those who are above 25 years old will resonate with the anime.

Haven't experienced Fruits Basket; neither the manga nor that anime the manga fans don't seem to entirely like. Still more or less know what I'll be getting into with Ouran though, so I guess I can take you up on that offer somewhere down the line.

Already halfway through and liking it tongue.gif (and I'm not even 23 yet, let alone 25). Yeah, I can say it's been worth a watch so far. It's taking a premise that could've easily turned into dumb wish fulfillment/C-tier comedy/both and instead providing an actual, decent plot, actual themes to go with it, and characters that aren't one-dimensional cutouts. Nothing groundbreaking, but definitely a good deal above average.

You betcha my friend, I'll up'em rather soon ~ as well as the Fruits Basket anime. The reason the manga fans of Fruits Basket hate the anime so much is cause it doesn't suck like the manga (to put it in vernacular) in both terms of quality animation/character designs and plot. Both are highly worth a watch, cause they take the shoujo genre & make guys actually like it haha~ happy.gif

Yeah don't read either manga's... they highly suck compared to the godly animated & storyboard'ed anime of both series. ☆彡
