The only Miata driver around Group: Advanced Members Posts: 2,908 Member No.: 14,640 Joined: Nov 30th 2005 Location: Hicksville | IDAS4 has been released in Hong Kong with a few set backs. First the average price dropped from HK$10 to HK$7, and then it was discovered that cards cannot be renewed outside of Japan as of now. _________________________________ Cowman715: I'm sure we'll see some WR's get distroyed tonight xD This post has been edited by razorsuKe on May 1 2007, 11:35 PM |

One at Goldstar, one near CKF's home and the other near HKS's home. The price of the thing is putting all veterans off over here abd won't be playing it until the price has dropped a bit more. It's only n00bs and old middle aged dirty people like I who are hogging it day and night. |

IDW Special Member Group: Members Posts: 272 Member No.: 17,323 Joined: Apr 18th 2006 Location: 新之城@旺角(HK) | Well it will be a big flop here in Hong Kong.... for one reason I just found out... OMG OMG!!! I can't renew my card >.< The network signal isn't strong enough to connect to the Japanese servers and so my card is useless!!!!! Either I go to Japan and renew it or HK is screwed. Thats the drawback from importing machines dedicated to the Japanese markets. Until official cabs are available for HK, I don't think ID4 will be mainstream. For now, this problem will kill off any hopes of it being a big hit. Oh well... at least you all know. OUT OF JAPAN, YOU CANNOT RENEW YOUR CARD. There! |

No more it isn't... after 2 days in HK, they dropped the price down to HK$7 a credit and $35 a card. The sad thing is that previously they allowed for $5 coins (insert 2 for a credit) but now that it's $7 a pop, you don't need to be a genius to work out that now you have to put in $1 coins... guess what? the card requires 35 $1 coins as well. >.< | ||
