Honestly, having all of the tag team division on one show would have been better.

Same with the women's division.

I wonder about that though, maybe have the women's division on RAW to fill the 3 hours, but having tag teams on both brands makes sense. It might be just me, but having no tag teams on Smackdown would kind of suck.

Seeing the hardys come back was fun, would have been so much better if the typical "hold on!" moment would have edge and christian come back as well. Fun match to see for that moment.

That would be reek of awesomeness, but it'll probably never happen since they've both sustained injuries that prevent them from competing, but on the bright side they have their own podcast now which has been pretty good so far, not as great as Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard or any of the stuff on PodcastONE.

Edge and Christian are both medically barred from wrestling in WWE. Edge specifically has been told that he's literally one hard hit away from paralysis.

It's a real shame with Christian though, his last run was him being injured quite a bit. sad.gif

Apparently according to rumours it's looking like AJ might be heading to RAW as part of the shake up. sad.gif

Yeah I heard Meltzer say that as well. I hope it's just another idea that hasn't been finalized. Remember that the last draft wasn't finalized until just before the show started. AJ just might be safe on the brand that absolutely needs a top tier ticket seller. Raw already has enough.

Well we'll find out later tonight if this shake up is going to be terrible or not. Here's hoping the changes are good ones.

So first stage of the RAW shakeup and it kind of stings they moved The Miz over to RAW and that Smackdown's world title might move to RAW since it is being defended on a RAW PPV

SD title is safe. They wouldn't dream of having both titles on one brand, as it would destroy revenue from the other one and end up with everybody on SD having nothing to fight for. It's just bad booking. BUT, if they end up doing that, they can cop out by just creating the blue belt they've always planned for SD and have a big match for somebody to claim it, and then it's back to business as usual.

I was thinking more along the lines of Lesnar's belt somehow moving to Smackdown or something.

I'm wondering why they don't have trades happening more often, the only people who switched brands since last year have been guys like Heath Slater, Jack Swagger and that dude who is managing Carmella (also wonder why they didn't move her to RAW to spice up Enzo and Cass).

I guess that kind of forecasts that Orton either ain't losing or Smackdown has no top tier belt anymore.

Orton won't lose. The match will be another gimmick match like at WM, and Orton is scheduled to win it.

I'm going to guess that Owens will drop the US title to Zayn so he can go after Orton.

Well, that was an interesting decision to go with Jinder Mahal as the top contender.

It was a spot originally intended for Rusev, apparently. It was a poor choice to let the lowest guy in the match go over and get a PPV match as a reward. Mahal getting a championship match against Orton is a horrible idea, but it's happening.

It's too bad Ru Ru is out due to injury. I'd definitely be interested in seeing him against Orton.

I'm surprised I didn't bring it up earlier but it looks like Mauro is officially gone from the WWE. I think it's a loss on WWE's part and they just swept the whole situation under the rug rather than actually do the right thing and do something about the rumour bullying problem backstage instead of being hypocrites and promoting anti-bullying campaigns.

Foregone conclusion. Vince didn't like him and certainly wasn't going to stop JBL from being a dick. Mauro's only options were to either "demote" himself to calling NXT, or calling Raw with Graves, Cole and Booker. Neither is a good choice, as both teams are already packed.

He's better off elsewhere.

It's a shame since he seemed to be a pretty good commentator with an amazing memory and knack for detail. I really hope this comes back and bites the E in the butt and that Mauro becomes far more successful elsewhere.

So what did you think of Payback? Definitely surprised me a little that they didn't go the route of being predictable.

Now go watch the match this was promoting. Well worth the time.

The rematch last month was better somehow. Part 1 Part 2

I heard one of the announcers say something to the effect of "wakibara" ワキバラ?Sounds like a move that would translate to "ampit thorn" .. laugh.gif
