Chapter 26: Epilogue - 2 Weeks After.

"Kyon! Haruhi! You're gonna be parents?!" Mogi-taicho was more than a little shocked.

"Yep! I'm already a month in! I can't wait to be a mommy, Kyon!" Haruhi, you seem a little too happy. You do know that our kids are gonna be coming out of your...

"Don't finish that thought."

Duly noted. Well, here we are, back at home. Haruhi decided to throw a little gathering of all the racers from that endurance race two weeks ago. She also decided that it would be the best time for her to make our huge announcement. This is how it actually went down....

"Everyone! I'm gonna be a mommy! Kyon knocked me up!"

"..............................."

The utter shock then gave way to another "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww", and then cheers all around. The SOS-Dan seemed especially happy. For some reason, I think those 3 are gonna make great uncles and aunts. Just don't let them have any kids anytime soon. But then again, I'm one to talk.

"Haru-chan, I'm gonna be an uncle? Wow. Congratulations, you two." Takumi seemed relieved. "Kyon, I'm glad you wound up in Haru-chan's life. She couldn't ask for a better husband, or father."

"Haha, I'm glad you feel that way, Takumi-san." I responded. "Um...where's Mika?"

"She had to go to America to pursue her LPGA career. So that means that I'm single...."

"No you're not." Mogi-taicho cut in.

"Ehhh....? But." Sleepy-eyed Takumi didn't seem to resist all that much.

"You're not." Mogi-taicho sounded even firmer. She even hugged him.

"Um.....okay."

Ooookay. Awkward.

While everyone was partying, Kana-san was busy whacking Sosuke with her fan, Sakura and Syaoran were chatting on the couch, Naru and Kyoko were chasing after Keisuke (who was hiding in the bathroom), and everybody seemed to be having a good time. I decided to have some alone time with Haruhi, so I called her onto the balcony.

"Hon, you're something else, you know that?" I said.

"Why?"

"I dunno, not very many girls can say that they're a works driver for Top Secret, graduating from Tokyo U, a winner of a enduro race, and leader of a paranormal investigation organization. Seems like someone as active as you would be able to find some guy that's just as crazy as you are, or cuter than me, anyway."

"Kyon, remember back in high school? I'll admit that I wasn't the most normal high school girl. You could've just as easily ditched me, avoided me, or slapped me, but you didn't. You were the only guy that actually listened to what I had to say, and even to this day, you're the only one that truly understands me. I know that you're the only guy for me, in this whole wide world. And I'm glad that I'm gonna be your wife. I love you, Kyon."

"I love you too, Haruhi."

The two of us kissed on the balcony...and wouldn't you know it, everyone saw us and let out a resounding.....


"AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW."
