Should have around 600 hp. 11,45s/202 km/h at 1/4 mile. http://bilar.silverplanet.se/albums/Racein...04/PICT0217.jpg 2003 Saab 9-3 Aero, not much tuning at all, but good looking... http://bilar.silverplanet.se/albums/Racein...04/PICT0208.jpg Mitsu Lancer Evo1 GSR. exhaust, airfilter and gizzmo-chip, 12,27s at 1/4 mile. http://bilar.silverplanet.se/albums/Racein...04/PICT0231.jpg 1994 Volvo 850 T5, don´t know much about it. http://htpc.hemma.melmac.se/rin_vartraff_2...es/DSC01078.jpg http://htpc.hemma.melmac.se/rin_vartraff_2...es/DSC01075.jpg 1992 Audi S4 2,2 turbo quattro, about 550 hp. 1,8 tons and 12,5 at 1/4 mile. http://htpc.hemma.melmac.se/rin_vartraff_2...es/DSC01156.jpg http://htpc.hemma.melmac.se/rin_vartraff_2...es/DSC01420.jpg 2000 Subaru Impreza 22B-STI (i´m not sure about that though), brought in from GB, never sold new in sweden. The dyno said 340 hp at the wheels after some minor tuning, if I remember it right... http://htpc.hemma.melmac.se/rin_vartraff_2...es/DSC01433.jpg That´s what I came up with at the moment. Hope you like at least some of them. |

If IDW had one I would raise the bs flag icon on that one.. As much as I hate to admit it, I kind of agree with 4g, it looks abit wild/tacky/ricey but thats irelivent since its just my opinion. I do love the cosworth though That red saab looks real nice. |

IDW Senior Member Group: Members Posts: 72 Member No.: 2,876 Joined: Aug 30th 2004 Location: Sweden | I can´t swear that it has 600 hp, it´s just a qualified guess by the man who did the fuelmap for it. 11.45s is the best quartermile-time, and after that it has been rewarded with a bigger turbo, agressive camshafts, racingfuelmap and some other things that I don´t remember now. A movieclip of it, though: http://www.raceinorr.com/~ajo/ajo/buffy-cossie.mpg Only 11,59 there, but a little higher speed, 207 km/h. Should correct myself too, when running 11,45 it only had a topspeed of 197 km/h. If the damn gearbox didn´t blow up everytime they try to add more boost, it should be able to run under 11 seconds. And that´s really no bs. I don´t like to lie... |

Shutup??? ONTOPIC:: The cars look great!!! In my eyes, speed is almost all that matters... looks comes second. So if I walk up to a car and tell the owner that it is ugly, then he tells me that it runs 9's... I will be.. B-E-A-UTIFUL car man... awesome.

*shrugs, tbh I was thinkging it was a typeo. I can believe 400 to 450hp for mid 11's but 600 is a stretch... *shrugs Best I can think of is the high elevation+ not so wide tires+well, I dont know. lol It is fast though either way though, I will give'm that.

One of the major things to do to them is to do massive weight reductions. You would get sick over the amount of weight that that damned car could lose through weight reductions. |

If its any consolation I still wish I had one... well, kinda they do... a vette weighs allot less, they are all in the 3,100/3,800lb range.. 800hp and it does 11's? Susp problems? Or does he like to give fat wemon rides? lol

HAHA naw its kool. Go ahead and crack on us..cuz it is true. One thing you guys need to know, alot of Supra owners are straight up weird and come from all walks of life...unlike the other car owners, our community is very disfunctional and all hate each other and everyone. Ive meet doctors, lawyers, grandpa's with some serious beasts...and then Id meet fukin kids with their daddys wallet that have like 700hp Supras. Alot of them build their supras up for different fields of racing...some are just straight dyno queens, some are just for the track, some just for drag racing, some just to have, and some just for show. Its the guys that mix the catagorys that run such shitty times at the track. Supras can do several things great, but you would have to stick in one catagory to do it well...here these guys try to do several things well. Youll see these guys with track suspensions and track tires trying to drag race...show guys wit heavy bling bling rims on shit tires, or dyno queens w/ no suspension work trying to run good times. Ive meet guys that drag, not to get a good time, but to see their trap speeds..cuz trap speed is the best way of knowing exactly how much power your car has. The stock IRS is what really hinders the Supra from running any type of good time also. The Supras that run good times in the quarter mile are the ones that are strictly drag Supras.
Man you got that right. Im sure you know as well. Supras are untouchable on the freeway. I can lose in the quarter mile but blow them away like they were parked going up to 150mph. It is geared perfectly..The 5th and 6th gears are monsters..5th gear is close to 1:1 ratio, and the 6th is no gas saving gear like the Vettes. Nothing but performance was in mind. Toyota spent zero money and zero time on economy engineering for the Supra. This post has been edited by 1slowsupra on Sep 18 2004, 03:28 AM

My opinion is this -> it looks like a teletubbie-car... hmmm, hate tha back of it... to smooth for my taste, the skyline or NSX or 3kgt or 850CSI or Vette or some other car is better looking... It should look like its drawn with a... hmmm... don´t know the word in english, but that thing that u messure things with when in school? Plastic thing with inches or cm on it? Well... For you supra enthusiasts -> swedish supra, I think the pic says it all... http://www.supramannen-racing.com/mainimage3-1.gif |
