I wondered, does anyone else watch this show?

I finished the show, and it was definately a tear jerker.

I've read only the first chapters as of yet. I can't really review much about it because I tend to review the story as a whole rather than by first impressions based on a few chapters. But my appeal to the show is I will follow it later on.

I haven't read the mange but I had the anime lent to me from a friend. It wasn't a bad show, up until O.o

I won't spoil it but its a hell of a twist and comes out of no-where. Though its only in the anime from what I understand.

I've seen it. It was alright. I thought the ending was a bit touching.

it was incredibly touching the ending for me. but for me, Nodoka touched me the most. I'm still affected by her a week later not even watching the show.

I wouldn't say the anime is anything spectacular, though I've heard good things about the manga. The anime sort of treads water the whole way through plot wise.

so guess you could call it another love hina and ichigo 100% aye? With the anime being a considerable let down when compared to the manga.

Yeah, though as I said, I haven't read the manga, but I've heard only good things about it, where the anime itself was a bit lack lustre. Love Hina is probably a good example of this, yeah. Overall, I'd watch something else and skip it. Hell, with 30 odd girls in it its hard enough just keeping track of names, let alone the story.

Edit: Love Hina and Ichigo animes actually had funny parts littered through the story enough to keep you interested, this show doesn't.

Apparently the anime had a lot of unsupervised cuts and all for the TV release, apparently the DVDs have had a lot of animation re-done (might wait on Funimation's DVDs before I actually watch any Negima).

You're wrong as the anime of Negima had quite alot of funny things throughout to keep you intrested.

I will never forget the mischeif that Negi encountered in the walking club XD

Ah yes, at the very least the new OVA has real odd animation as compared to the old TV series.

Negima!? ftw.

After a visit to my local anime store, I was informed that Negima!? plushies would be coming out sometime in January...I intend to get 2 of them, Nadoka and Asuna.
