How much per game?

Posted by: brian_infinispirit Dec 26 2012, 07:03 AM
^ 30 pesos per play. Personally, I feel Timezone should reduce it to 25 within the next few months, considering our machines are still offline.

Posted by: Migs Dec 27 2012, 09:52 PM
it's 30 credits per game , for the card you can have it for 6 swipes = 180 credits, you can buy 200 credits for 160 pesos =)

Damn, that's expensive.

How are the cabs? Did they get new cabs or did they just upgrade the old ones?

Posted by: DigiBunny Dec 28 2012, 01:35 AM
Just upgrades with new boards at the top. I can't feel that wheel issue anymore though. Might be just how the game feels.

Posted by: TaleOfVale Dec 28 2012, 07:31 AM
Yea wheel feels different for ID7.
By the way, in Sg some places for offline ID7 is getting cheaper, I'm sure it'll happen for our neighbours. ^^

too expensive sad.gif
still can't play new version of initial d sad.gif

Posted by: Migs Jan 1 2013, 07:03 AM
Compared to Maximumtune4 which is 45 pesos per game its a lot cheaper.. haha

Posted by: SatoshiOmiya Jan 2 2013, 06:15 AM
haha ur right but still its expensive for me. ID6AA give me hard time to save money. the only game i can play is ID4

Posted by: Migs Jan 2 2013, 07:37 PM
went to tz yestrday to play ID7 i noticed that there's only one decent steering wheel @ G4, the one farthest to the right. I also noticed maximumtune4 become a 50 php per game..hahaha too expensive..>.<

@Satoshi: where do u play ID4? almost all ID4 machines have tech problems already =(, (over steering , auto gas , moving seat , no brakes, not working card reader, ) all probbly because of wear & tear.

Posted by: DigiBunny Jan 3 2013, 12:00 AM
Would anyone happen to have an FD from D6, by any chance?

I don't feel like starting another car to get an FD, and tune it up from scratch.

Posted by: DamienWolf Jan 3 2013, 12:04 AM
Still no time and cash to try it. Maybe in 2 weeks.

How much to make a card?

Posted by: brian_infinispirit Jan 3 2013, 09:39 AM
@ Digi: I do have an FD RS from my main card back in D6, but it's not even halfway through Spec-4 yet.

@ Wolf: 210 pesos, which is 7 swipes in total.

Posted by: DigiBunny Jan 3 2013, 01:42 PM
Given that all that matters is that the car is Spec 3 when it gets transferred, this is within acceptable paramaters.

@migs
WOF Megamall smile.gif. i tried to battle some pros but the left machine is in auto gas. so the result is all lose sad.gif

Posted by: Migs Jan 4 2013, 07:48 AM
I was the one that told the tech people interchange the right pedals to the left cab coz they couldn't fix it and since the card reader only works on the right cab =).. wla na e.. i did all my pangungulet to them, ask all the usual megamall players.. haha! so now i decided to try out ID7 AAX in G4 which seems only have minor problems with the steering wheel =)

i tried to play ID4 again., now i know how it feels to play from higher version to the one you usually play. @ wolf.., hahahaha hirap. i battled i think 2 days ago., the only map i could play was irohazaka, won & lost some coz with the slightest difference on the breaks you could skid, >.<

anyway i was thinking the other day can the pedals of an ID4 machine changed with the ones on ID3? hahaha.. anyone?

Posted by: DigiBunny Jan 5 2013, 04:23 AM
The brake for the second to the right cab in G4 seems to auto activate. I saw it climb by itself while I ran Myogi.

Second to the left cab is iffy with the steering.

Rightmost cab has funky speakers. Only one side works.

Posted by: brian_infinispirit Jan 5 2013, 06:22 AM
Avoid that second to the right cab. And not to mention the seat that retreats backwards when you least expect it to.

Posted by: Borjarnon Jan 8 2013, 08:31 PM
I'm okay with the seat, because I have long legs and have to retract it all the way anyway.

So! When does everyone drop by?

I figure it'd be easier for all of us if we tuned via tag battles.

Posted by: brian_infinispirit Jan 12 2013, 05:12 PM
^ For me, as always, it's either Saturday early evening or Sunday afternoon... most likely, the latter.

But now that I'm a lonely driver again as of last night, there's a better chance of me dropping by both days as far as weekends are concerned.

And yep, I think we all need to be gathered there one time so we can brainstorm of a letter convincing enough to appease Timezone Glorietta's manager and them fix those machines, as well as enable online full-time.

=======

Oh and, now even the rightmost cab isn't a TA-friendly machine anymore. The brake indicator makes its presence felt even where you're not stepping on the pedal. Ugh.

Ugh we don't even have these in Australia (latest version here is 5!!)

thankfully I'll be coming back to the motherland this year and will be in the Phils for about 3 weeks from late-June to July. I'll be sure to check it out then smile.gif

Posted by: DamienWolf Jan 13 2013, 10:41 PM
Let us know Smiley! Been a while, bro. I'll tour you around. My car should be ready by then. happy.gif

Wow... I am outdated with Initial D... since Glorietta is near my newer workplace, I'll try to head down there when I can... lmao. Or if I have some cash.

They also took out the cabs in Megamall so yeah, last place to go for Initial D.

Another question, you can transfer your stuff and/or customization from 6th to this one right? Cause I have one as well, so yeah, don't want to waste the car in there...

Posted by: brian_infinispirit Jan 16 2013, 11:24 AM
Your cars, along with their installed external parts, get transferred into D7. Despite that, you'll restart at SPEC-3 tuning if your cars were Full-SPEC (or at least SPEC-3 in D6).

Avatars, racer level, card mileage, battle records, and tag points from D6 don't get carried into D7 as well.

I used to pass by Glorietta on the way home but that's no longer feasible, because EDSA bus traffic is so bad that I take another route.

I'll probably be able to play irregularly on Saturday middays.

I don't think we even have IDAS4 in Wisconsin......... sad.gif

Need to pass by Glorietta on an off day after my pay to try out the new Initial D because if I do it before my shift, well... my arm... XD

Editing since no one posted after me... :

Just tried out IDAAX today, for some reason I find it much easier than ID6 and was able to transfer my data from ID6 to ID7, didn't realize you can continue the storyline from there as well and you don't start from the beginning... o__o

Posted by: brian_infinispirit Feb 25 2013, 09:43 AM
It's now 25 pesos per play instead of the old 30.

Just had to bump this thread to inform those who haven't been to Glorietta recently.

Somehow, I'm getting this feeling that the price drop is an indirect way for Timezone to tell us, "We thank you for your interest in ID7, but you can now kiss online goodbye!"

---

As a consolation, however, now I could take an S15 to Full-SPEC (sans externals) in one day with this price drop.

Getting actually more motivated to play Wangan instead. What with the Philippines recognized and all. Its online, too.

Posted by: SonicSP Mar 7 2013, 02:22 AM
There needs to be enough demand for the arcade to think about paying the larger cost for online. Though I'm also not sure about how Namzo's online cost differs from Sega, but I would be surprised if it was that much different.

Considering Wangan arcade games are usually more popular than IDAS and have a much higher demand, it probably helps out a lot. They even still get English versions.

I don't have as much time to play ID as before... most of the time, I would be playing before the start of my shift if I really wanted to. (and also, money goes to other stuff as well xD)
