Really looking foward to Doctor Love 2009 if the rumours are true! |
Posted by: Todeshornisse Nov 6 2008, 04:04 PM |
Hope there will be new remixes and not already remixed songs from the last years. |
Posted by: Ronnie Nov 6 2008, 04:27 PM |
Remixes? Thats a bit of a cop-out isn't it? |
Posted by: Holland Close Nov 7 2008, 05:39 AM |
Time to speculate! Space Boy 2009 One Night In Arabia 2009 Shibuya Girl 2009 Go Godzilla Go 2009 King Kong Is Back 2009 Milan Milan Milan 2009 Running In The 2000's No One Sleep In Tokyo 2009 Never Gonna Give You Up 2009 <--- XD Original Sin 2009 |
Posted by: Paranoid Nov 7 2008, 08:11 AM |
Original Sin was produced not even four years ago. Why remake it when it still sounds perfectly fresh? I hate it when labels butcher old classics. For that reason I'm more in favour of the labels redoing less well-known hits like TIME did with Love Desire. |
Posted by: nachotaku yagami Nov 7 2008, 11:13 AM |
are really this rumors????, brilliant remember old songs good or bad, but the bad thing wait disc until January, I want that are true, thanks for info... |

There's a place for these questions: https://idforums.net/index.php?showtopic=28635 ...and you don't have enought posts, sorry. |
Posted by: man_in_evo6 Nov 8 2008, 03:12 PM |
With a remix album looming (maybe), i suppose this would be the time to ask. has SCP EVER done a remix? |
Posted by: awdrifter Nov 8 2008, 03:13 PM |
A Never Gonna Give You Up 2009 remix would be cool. |
Posted by: Alastair Nov 8 2008, 05:35 PM |
Euro rickroll 2009, bad idea. |
Posted by: Linnah Nov 8 2008, 05:39 PM |
Lemme see, remixes... I guess they'd pick New Love, Hot Vampire, Night of Fire (Duuh), Boom Boom Fire (Duuuh²), I love you Babe, One nigh in Arabia, Express Love.... Probabbly the biggest eurohits from all Eurobeat history.. |
Posted by: Todeshornisse Nov 9 2008, 03:00 AM
Not a christmas release? Weird. |
Posted by: Linnah Nov 9 2008, 09:42 AM |
Probably they're having a special X-mas SEB too, but it doesn't counts as a oficial #Seb, I guess~ |
Posted by: Fad Nov 9 2008, 10:36 AM |
Hopefully...just so long as it`s not a rehash of all the old xmas tracks... and please, no Do They Know It`s Christmas 2009 |
Posted by: Yuki Aizawa Nov 12 2008, 09:19 AM
I agree with you xD I'll expect songs older than that. |
Posted by: Lebon14 Nov 12 2008, 09:45 AM
Well, Kevin Johnson's cover of Rickroll was on SEB 149. Not too old right? I'm not against it, but, rickroll is rickroll right? Delta will probably have thir song already (with Dr. Love 2009) or if there's a second, I expect a much older song... "Dance Around The World 2009" by Delta Queens anyone ? If there's SCP on this CD, expect songs that were on Euromach era because SCP joined the party there. Same for Hi-NRG Attack. I expect Go Go's Music to be absent from the tracklist or at least Domino decides to remix one of he A-Beat songs... or maybe Lolita... For Time... Well, it won't be Time directly because Time doesn't exit anymore : it is now Eurogrooves. So, Eurogrooves will probably have the upper hand on this album (being, at the base, the oldest Eurobeat label) |
Posted by: Oak Nov 12 2008, 01:41 PM |
I wonder if the format of the remixes will be (1) "old song 2009" version, or (2) "old song (sillyname remix)". By the 2nd one, I mean the stuff we see on disc 2 of some seb albums. |
Posted by: beat freak Nov 12 2008, 10:20 PM
Lebon14
HRG Attack are older than you think. Listen to some Eurobeat Flash for some real Triumphant hits. They are my favourite label, so I should know. Same goes for SCP. They also had some songs on EB Flash and Majaraja Nights. Nick mansel's Runnaway would be awsome for a cover. |
Posted by: nothingtohide Nov 13 2008, 03:28 AM |
A bit off topic, but I haven't been able to access Eurobeat Prime for a few days, whats wrong with it? |
Posted by: Akagi's White Comet Nov 13 2008, 10:32 AM |
I'd like to see some old Dave Rodgers songs remixed, maybe like Beat of the Rising Sun or 100. They could do 2009 remixes of lots of older Initial D songs, but I guess that could be saved for maybe another possible album in the future? |
Posted by: kyonpalm Nov 13 2008, 11:45 AM
I haven't been able to go there either. I think I saw something on their home page about them relocating or something. |
Posted by: iheartmiho Nov 13 2008, 01:19 PM |
I highly doubt that anything new would be on the cd as a remake. Remix, yes, but can't see remakes. Noticably, TIME hasn't made a remake of a song that was post- SEB 100... |
Posted by: kyonpalm Nov 13 2008, 01:37 PM
Awesome! I always go there to get album cover images for winamp, etc. |

Damn. This sounds good but I love the original too much to let this new version come to me I fear. |
Posted by: Oak Nov 15 2008, 05:48 PM |
Wow, this doesn't look bad! I wonder how many of them will be Initial D songs. I hope a bunch are. |
Posted by: Smiley_DC2 Nov 15 2008, 05:57 PM
agreed, i'd be happy if we had a handful from first stage as remakes |
Posted by: Jindrax Nov 18 2008, 12:08 PM |
i dno about this...new remixes thing. i mean, i need your love 2008 still fills me wityh rage to what they did to the original version of it ! |

Posted by: kyonpalm Nov 19 2008, 11:30 AM
I agree. Back On The Rocks 2009 would be awesome! I don't know why he's only releasing a few songs a year, though. |
Posted by: Quetzal Nov 22 2008, 02:00 PM |
Wow, no official tracklist yet... ._. Anyway, I wish there was very old school retro songs in a 2008/2009 style... I bet for: Matt Land - Night Clubbin' 2009 Tri-Star - Dancing At Twinstar 2009 Powerful T. - Original Sin 2009 Tommy K. - Rock Of Fire 2009 Franz "V.I.P." Tornado & Bazooka "T.C.V." Girl - Super Euro Flash 2009 Niko - Burning Love 2009 (Yea, Niko, because D. Essex hasn't been too active last time... lol) Niko - Speedway 2009 Well, I have a lot of songs I'd like to be in SEB 193, so I won't write all of them because it could take all night... lol Greetingz!! |
Posted by: Alastair Nov 22 2008, 03:09 PM
Well if you didn't know. Mega Nrg man is also known as known as dj zorro on the popular We Love Techpara series. so he is most likley making new songs for that series. |
Posted by: kyonpalm Nov 22 2008, 03:16 PM
Really? Isn't that his Hyper-Techno alias, though? Or is the We Love Techpara series Hyper-Techno... Anyway, Tomas Marin doesn't have to do a Mega NRG Man remix himself (most of these new remixes aren't by the original artist anyway). It could be anyone really, like Money Man (aka Mr.M) remixing Frank Torpedo's "Love For Money". |
Posted by: Alastair Nov 22 2008, 05:12 PM |
The We Love Techpara series is Hyper techno. |
Posted by: Reomaru Nov 23 2008, 06:05 AM |
I hope they add: (HRG#772) Pistol Girl - Ike Ike 2009 |
Posted by: Lebon14 Nov 23 2008, 10:16 AM
EDIT It was confirmed by E-P that the artist changed. Sorry. Kinda strange if you ask me. Sure appearance : 1x Delta (Doctor Love 2009) 1x Hi-NRG Attack (Ike Ike 2009) 1x GGM (Feat. SCP) (title unknown) If you want to know more, I think a visit to E-P is nevessary. |

I can'¿t read Asian at all, but accoring to those blogs we are getting these tracks? Above The Light(Neuro Version) / Dave Rodgers Kamikaze / Dj Nrg Tora Tora Tora / Domino Night Of Fire / Niko Doctor Love 2009 / Kevin & Cherry Bad Desire (The new Para-Para Version) / Mark Farina Feat. F.C.F Hung Up / Tipsy & Tipsy Ike Ike 2009 / Pistol Girl So we are getting Night Of Fire 2009. I don't even remeber the original Hung Up- Tipsy & Tipsy unless they are covering Madonna, in which case that would suck. The mono blog has these. I WANNA DANCE ●NUMBER ONE ●HOT VAMPIRE ●GIMME FIVE ●LOOKA BOMBA ●IKEIKE ●NEVER ENDING STORY ●VIDEO KILLER THE RADIO STARS ●NON-STOP MEGA MIX(収録楽曲のノン・ストップ・メドレー) 他 全13曲+メドレー収録予 Is that Number One from Fastway. They are gonna totally slaughter that song. Video Killed The Radio Star is Maga NRG Man original, so why change the title? I don't know any Eurobeat song called Never Ending Story |
Posted by: Tessou Nov 24 2008, 05:33 AM |
Kevin & Cherry doing a new version of Doctor Love = MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF WIN. |
Posted by: BOZZ Nov 24 2008, 06:20 AM |
I was wondering (and hoping) that there'd be a 2009 Night of Fire when it was announced what tracks were going to be on this album and now that it seems to have been announced I'm pretty stoked! |
Posted by: Lebon14 Nov 24 2008, 06:43 AM |
is there anyone that is able to do a clean translation of the web pages given by Reomaru? Just to be sure. |
Posted by: Tessou Nov 24 2008, 07:04 AM |
The tracks listed on Reomaru's first link say that they are going to be in 193 after an update to the SEB site, which also included the cover artwork for the album. The blog author said that he had personally listened to Doctor Love 2009, so that track is also guaranteed. He was a little downtrodden that the original artist didn't do the remake. |
Posted by: Lebon14 Nov 24 2008, 03:26 PM |
SO! Tipsy & Tipsy - Hung Up is, indeed, a cover of Madonna's hit. It sounds more a techno remix than Eurobeat though. Junodownload : http://www.junodownload.com/products/1363869-02.htm Saifam website : http://www.saifam.com/2004/download2.asp?i...l=ARD&code=1357 You can hear Dave Rodgers' song on his MySpace. http://www.myspace.com/daverodgersofficial P.S.: For god's sake, don't let stuff like SEB184's drama happen again. *points to links above* |
Posted by: Todeshornisse Nov 25 2008, 09:42 AM |
When will the album be released? |
Posted by: Lebon14 Nov 25 2008, 10:30 AM |
^ Oh! Forgot about that! January 7. |
Posted by: Tessou Nov 25 2008, 12:52 PM
Too late. Internet + Audacity recording software = free music. |
Posted by: Lebon14 Nov 25 2008, 12:58 PM
I didn't say that you can't for yourself. But sharing the stuff... that's what i don't want to happen. if it happens, then SEB drama bullcrap will happen. |
Posted by: Ronnie Nov 26 2008, 08:27 AM
YYYYYAAAAAYYYY! This one track will make the entire album ^_____^ |
Posted by: Tessou Nov 26 2008, 08:41 AM
But... we do share it. That's what we do here. Are you sure you're on the right forum? How else do you think people have copies of Rock Your Body by Nuage? That's right. <-- This guy right here. |
Posted by: Alastair Nov 26 2008, 01:09 PM |
Thank You Tessou for illegal sharing! |
Posted by: Tessou Nov 26 2008, 01:19 PM |
Hellz yeah! I beat the internet fuzz so you guys can have nice things! |
Posted by: InitialDRulz Nov 26 2008, 10:37 PM |
Tessou, i think what he mean't was when the song was ripped off from that Myspace link from a eurobeat artist (i cannot remember), Matteo Rizzi, one of the composers threw a complaint in the forums. I wouldn't want a repeat of that also. When the album releases, sharing is alright, but for unreleased song sharings that has been ripped from myspace etc, i'm afraid thats a no. |
Posted by: Lebon14 Nov 27 2008, 04:08 AM
Your guess is right. I don't want that to happen again |
Posted by: Tessou Nov 27 2008, 07:40 AM |
And that's exactly what I did. I recorded a song from Nuage's myspace and uploaded it. Did a controversy erupt? . ... ..... Still waiting. Nope, it didn't. Why? Because I'm just that f**king awesome. That and I only distributed it to people that wouldn't whine about it. |
Posted by: zarksentinels Dec 1 2008, 06:46 AM |
interesting,im looking forward on night of fire 2009 and bad desire 2009. hoping maharaja night 2009 will be on the list |
Posted by: iheartmiho Dec 1 2008, 09:29 AM
Why would there be a Maharaja Night 09 if there was the 06 remake on 169? |
Posted by: Tessou Dec 1 2008, 09:36 AM |
Because it's newer. Get with the program! |
Posted by: Jayveemon Dec 3 2008, 09:44 AM |
I wouldn't assume the original artist will be the artist the remakes on some of those >_> ::whistles and walks away:: EDIT: 12/4 I also just got word that there is in fact NOT a Night Of Fire 2009. |
Posted by: kyonpalm Dec 6 2008, 01:25 PM
HUH?! What's the 3rd track, then? Anyway, I'm really looking foward to this release. I was going to say that I hope Night of Fire was going to be done justice, but... |
Posted by: Jayveemon Dec 7 2008, 09:43 AM |
The list on Page 1 isn't the real list... |
Posted by: Lebon14 Dec 7 2008, 09:42 PM |

A Looka Bomba remix already? All of these look awesome and I can't wait for this release. Especially Doctor Love 2009 and Music For The People 2009. BTW: Is Video Killed The Radio Star a remix of Mega NRG Man's Video Killed The Radio? |
Posted by: Reomaru Dec 8 2008, 04:34 AM |
Sugar baby 2009! I like the original soooo much I hope Eurogrooves did a good job this time |
Posted by: iheartmiho Dec 8 2008, 05:21 AM
I'm assuming that VKTRS is not a remix of Mega NRG Man's song because this new one is done by DIMA. We can assume it's a cover of the 80s pop song by the Buggles. |
Posted by: Jayveemon Dec 8 2008, 07:33 AM
Looka Bomba 2009 is by Go Go Girls and Go Gos Music I Wanna Dance 2009 is supposed to be by Virginelle and in English Hot Vampire 2009 is supposed to be by Go 2. |
Posted by: Lebon14 Dec 8 2008, 11:54 AM |
^ Who expected this? lol... Looka Bomba by Go Go Girls... just didn't see that coming Hot Vampire by Go 2... I have to listen to the original I Wanna Dance by Virginelle -> This will be better than Domino. |
Posted by: iheartmiho Dec 8 2008, 12:34 PM
The original Hot Vampire was by Go Go Girls though, if that's what you're wondering. SEB 114, I think. I'm very interested in hear the label switchup. |
Posted by: Lebon14 Dec 8 2008, 12:41 PM
I know that it's from Go Go Girls and to say where the original was, Eurobeat-Prime was there for that. |
Posted by: Jayveemon Dec 8 2008, 12:59 PM |
I can't wait! This CD will be rare and exceptional!!! |
Posted by: Lebon14 Dec 8 2008, 04:24 PM
Nope. Never ending story & Video Killed The Radio Star are covers. Never Ending Story is from Limahl and Video Killed The Radio Star is from The Buggles. Follow the links to hear the originals. |

Ticks all the boxes for me (such a sucker for the old school hits) Sold my soul to Amazon JP, shipping on the 6th of Jan (also picked some other stuff while I was there to make the shipping costs worth it) Seriously though this album is going to be crazy good |
Posted by: Lebon14 Dec 9 2008, 09:47 PM |
There's a change of plan guys The last list was an hoax. From HMV Japan : 1 Christine? - Number One 2 Go Go Girls? - Looka Bomba 3 Dave Rodgers - Space Boy - Grand Mix - 4 Leslie Parrish - The Never Ending Story 5 ? - Save A Prayer 6 Lolita - Try Me - Platinum Mix - 7 Krystal - Video Killed The Radio Star 8 Tipsy & Tipsy - Hung Up 9 Mark Fost Feat. FCF - Bad Desire 10 ? - Too Young To Fall In Love 11 Kevin & Cherry - Doctor Love 12 Go 2? - Hot Vampire 13 Pistol Girl - Ike Ike The artists were filled by me |
Posted by: DXPetti Dec 10 2008, 02:15 AM
Lebon, Save a Prayer is by the artist Apple and track 10 is actually Mara Nell - Like a Rocket in the Sky Also track 14 is a mega mix; here is the break down
All from NRGexpress BBS This current list is from HMV Japan but once again could still be bullsh*t |
Posted by: Reomaru Dec 10 2008, 05:34 AM |
a hoax huh? I really wanted my Sugar Baby 09, but, still, this album looks pretty solid for me.I loved Time old songs, so I am expecting all the Eurogrooves tracks. |

Posted by: YumeChan Dec 10 2008, 09:45 AM |

Posted by: Lebon14 Dec 10 2008, 09:56 AM
Me neither... seriously. EDIT Cover : Download limited Non-stop Mix... I say you have some pincode and then be able to download some kind of megamix (with a limited edition or first press album) P.S : It's in time like these where double posting should be allowed. |
Posted by: Tessou Dec 12 2008, 06:39 AM |
Any idea when previews should be available on this bad boy? I'm seriously on the fence about buying this one if the tracklist is as screwy as it's been looking recently. |

Doctor Love will be on Junodownload on one of the two next Eurobeat Master album releases from Delta in the near future. For the rest, endure the pain. |

Wow. If that's the case, then someone please post that! I'm getting really excited about this release, mainly for Space Boy and Doctor Love '09. Edit (2013/01/17): Exterminated weeaboo-esque bullshit. |

mehhhhhhhhhhh this is problam the 8th consecutive album without mega NRGM on it.... WHY? seriously did he die or something ?? |
Posted by: kyonpalm Dec 17 2008, 11:47 AM
NOOOOOOO!!! I hope not. But for some reason this reminds me of an interview with him I've seen before on a Mega NRG Man fansite: Mega NRG Man Interview Could someone tell me if it's for real? Because interestingly enough, he said in the interview that we'd be hearing more about his life and artist work but I don't know one thing more about him other than this photo: |
Posted by: iheartmiho Dec 18 2008, 05:31 AM |
I believe that the interview is legit because it's done by the biggest MEGA NRG MAN fangirl that's on EB-P's forum. Of course, the interview was done December 07. And is it really bad he hasn't been on for 8 albums? We have alot of releases in the 170s and 180s from him. Don't forget that Marin also does the vocal work for DJ Zorro...so he might be real busy with that. |
Posted by: Paranoid Dec 18 2008, 07:00 AM
Sadly, no. If you check ASCAP, you'll see he has many, many more unreleased 'gems', which I'm sure we're all eagerly waiting for Avex to grace us with. Honestly, I'm just tired of listening to him, both as Mega NRG Man and DJ Zorro. Maybe the small break is for the best. |
Posted by: Fad Dec 18 2008, 02:04 PM |
I don`t really care for Mega.N.M. as a rule, of the 53 (?) tracks I`ve heard of his....none are on my mental (or physical for that matter) favourites list.... some people will think I`m obviously insane...just like when I say I really dislike Mr Rodgers....but that`s not the point here Ryosuke...is it the vocalist you like, or just the fact that you haven`t seen a Mega.N.M track in a while ? Would you be OK with one with a different vocalist under the pseudonym ? I say this as I don`t usually take a great deal of notice of the artist a lot of the time, I just know that I like the way they sound/sing.... |
Posted by: kyonpalm Dec 18 2008, 09:12 PM
Well I think he's a great singer. He's right up there with Giancarlo Pasquini as my favorite artist. A new song by him wouldn't be too bad though...
I'm not sure I understand that. If for some reason you meant another singer under the Mega NRG Man alias, I've never heard of another. @Paranoid:
Are you wishing death upon Tomas Marin?! On that subject, is it Tomas Marin or Martin? And are there any other pics of him? |
Posted by: TypeR76 Dec 18 2008, 09:49 PM
He has quite a number of alias actually, its just that he doesn't seem to sing under them as much as DJ Zorro And Mega NRG Man. I know of another prominent one which is Mr Groove. By the way, I see you are also a fan of DR, Would like to know if you would like to share some rare releases of him with me ? |
Posted by: Fad Dec 19 2008, 04:55 AM |
Yes, I meant a song from the same writers/studio written in the style of MNM, but with a different singer |
Posted by: kyonpalm Dec 19 2008, 10:28 AM
Oh, like a Mega NRG Man cover! Yeah I would, but only because I haven't heard many covers of his songs and I'd be interested to hear what it'd sound like. Still would prefer a new song of his though... @TypeR76:
Depends on what you mean by rare, 'cause I don't have any of his old records. I have a lot of his songs though, so if you have a request just PM me. |
Posted by: Tessou Dec 19 2008, 10:57 AM
No, not a cover. A new vocalist using the name Mega NRG Man. Remember the different Marko Polo vocalist behind Jungle Fever? Same thing applies here. It's a natural thing for Eurobeat. The aliases are handed to new artists over time. There have been numerous people behind the names Max Coveri and Chester, for example. Some of the names I don't think will ever change. I mean, Dave Rodgers is pretty much assigned to Giancarlo Pasquini and that's it. Forever. |
Posted by: kyonpalm Dec 19 2008, 11:02 AM
Oh, well then never mind, I would certainly not be fine with that. I mean I'll always associate Mega NRG Man with Tomas Marin. Also could someone please tell me if it's Marin or Martin? I just hate not knowing... |
Posted by: Fad Dec 20 2008, 12:21 AM |
I`m probably the last person to ask, I can barely remember my own name sometimes, but I was under the impression it was Marin |
Posted by: YumeChan Dec 21 2008, 02:03 AM |
It's Marin as far as I know. Wikipedia says so, too... |
Posted by: kyonpalm Dec 21 2008, 02:15 AM |
Okay, thanks! I've just heard many people say Martin. Probably just a typo on their part... |
Posted by: YumeChan Dec 21 2008, 02:23 AM |
Well I guess so.. *hehe* In fact it is confusing with all those names.... But I just found a list on wiki that helps.... List of Eurobeat Artists |

I wonder when we will be getting samples |
Posted by: kyonpalm Dec 21 2008, 03:02 AM
Hey I've been there! But they don't have the true name of Phil. I don't think many people have seen his face so here's a pic of him, just because it was so hard to find one, Reomaru had to help: @DXPetti: Maybe a week or so before, I would guess but who knows? |

Nice. Dr. Love's sound quality isn't so good yet, so I'll have to wait for the real one in that case. Also, I think Lebon is right- Saifam's "Hung Up" is not bad at all. At least I know there will be one song I like on the album. |

Mega NRG Man profile on gogosmusic.it There is a bio and a few photos of Mega NRG Man. If Tomas stopped singing Eurobeat, I'm 110% sure they would retire the "Mega NRG Man" alias. |

My thoughts listening to the Doctor Love sample: 'What is everyone's problem? This sounds pretty gooAAGH JESUS WHAT IS THAT SYNTH' Also, the Bad Desire remix is up on Juno (and has been for a couple months, lol). Sounds pretty good from the sample: http://www.junodownload.com/ppps/products/1363870-02.htm |
Posted by: Bladeoz Jan 2 2009, 11:54 PM |
Dumb question most likely... but Space Boy is gonna be just a remix, not a remake right? Still pretty annoyed about Nights of Fire being a hoax |
Posted by: kyonpalm Jan 6 2009, 09:50 AM
Sounds like it. It'll be released tomorrow! Who's buying?! |
Posted by: Lebon14 Jan 6 2009, 04:19 PM |
Well, well, well... The Japanese iTunes has the previews this time around. Mu-mo failed HARD. So, I'm here to save your ass from iSh-- huh... I mean iTunes. All 13 previews in one file here : http://www.zshare.net/file/mdmi5c or here http://www.zshare.net/T7RZXXYI or here (for god sake) : http://www.zshare.net/?sharekey=76574da...2db6fb9a8902bda Enjoy the previews. Tracklist on first page. |
Posted by: kyonpalm Jan 6 2009, 05:08 PM
So Space Boy IS new! These are all pretty good but Bad Desire 2009 is the best, I think. |
Posted by: Lebon14 Jan 6 2009, 05:27 PM
I failed to see real differences between the original and this one... you know, real obvious changes that gives the song a better feel of today's sound... |
Posted by: Oak Jan 6 2009, 05:37 PM |
The previews leave out a lot of the important parts of the songs. Especially for space boy. Space Boy sounded almost the same from the preview as Lebon said, but I bet there'll be more dramatic changes in the melody section. Once again, I guess we'll just have to wait and see. |
Posted by: DXPetti Jan 6 2009, 10:46 PM |
My copy has shipped from Amazon.co.jp. With any luck it should be here by Friday if not Monday! I'll rip it and get it up ASAP. 320kbps MP3s preferred? |
Posted by: Nine3001 Jan 7 2009, 12:02 AM
Oh man, once you hear the full version you're either going to really love it or really hate it. There's way too much going on, and the intro to the song is a 1 minute and 30 second long piano solo. |
Posted by: Tessou Jan 7 2009, 12:14 AM
Why would you ever consider going to Mu-Mo in the first place if you've got like the most raging boner for sound quality? You NEVER like Mu-Mo, dude. |
Posted by: Todeshornisse Jan 7 2009, 12:48 AM |
Can't wait, even when it' just remixes. |
Posted by: Fad Jan 7 2009, 03:11 AM |
Thanks Lebon for the previews..... Just listened quickly, and the only thing that sounded very different was Looka Bomba....disregarding the cover versions of course It`s impossible to tell until we hear the full previews though. |
Posted by: Tofuboi Jan 7 2009, 05:07 AM |
I'm quite liking Looka Bomba at the moment! Then again I've always liked Go 2's originals. So this remix just made it better |
Posted by: TypeR76 Jan 7 2009, 06:57 AM |
The album is awesome. I am giving myself a week or two to confirm my feelings for the album. All hail space boy and hot vampire. Probably quite a fight with the awesome 191. |
Posted by: Lebon14 Jan 7 2009, 07:10 AM
Hey, I was talking about previews here. They didn't even put up the previews at the usual address yet. And, fyi, quality of sample doesn't matter much : they ARE previews, not the full thing. And, buying on mu-mo is the last place where I'll ever buy. |
Posted by: cyberfox8 Jan 7 2009, 07:46 AM |
So far I'm really digging the Go2/Go Go Girls switch-off. I'm also digging the HiNRG Duran Duran cover. Ike Ike is good too, but I'll have to listen to the full version and put it up against the original to make a final decision. The rest of the tracks aren't really grabbing me. And Neverending Story should definitely have been remade with a similar female vocalist to the original song. Nothing against the dude, but it just doesn't sound right. Oh well. |
Posted by: BOZZ Jan 7 2009, 07:47 AM
Yeah, same here, I'm digging the Go Go Girls version of Looka Bomba... |
Posted by: Todeshornisse Jan 7 2009, 08:13 AM |

Loved the preview best 190's until now |
Posted by: Akira Jan 7 2009, 11:05 PM |
I absolutely love the new Looka Bomba, but I still heart the original Hot Vampire. The Go2 version was good but the Go Go Girls version used to give me goosebumps when I cranked it. I'm PERSONALLY not a fan of the new Doctor Love at all. I think it should have been left alone. It had a classic SEB feel that can't be redone or remixed.. It would be like rereleasing 'Don't you love me' by Virginelle. It's classic, leave it alone. XD ALSO: huge luls at first track |

What the original was Limahl from Kajagoo goo. He was male ...and Duran Duran; who also have a cover on this cd, discovered Kaja Goo Goo. So it's pretty funny when you think about it. I love Pistol Girl's remake |
Posted by: Fad Jan 8 2009, 01:32 AM |
It was Limahl..... and quite amusingly, when he turned up at Macmillans (a nightclub in Liverpool) one Sunday in about `86 .... he decided to do an impromptu performance after being plied with free drinks from the owner..... he was acting like a real diva all night and promptly got booed off stage by everyone |

Well I am never ever listening to samples again. The whole album has lived upto my expectations and is sensational! My hat goes off to Dave Rodgers, he took a song that has been remixed into oblivion and somehow made it a] ten times better and b] epic, almost like something out of a movie soundtrack Uploading to Sendspace now... EDIT: SEB 193 MP3 @ 320kbps http://www.zshare.net/file/9vo6z2 Enjoy |

DX Petti, thank you very much. I agree that, once again, previews don't do justice to the album (not a big surprise). I liked The Never Ending Story, Hung Up, Bad Desire, Doctor Love (especially the intro), Too Young to Fall in Love, Hot Vampire, Looka Bomba, and Space Boy. As for number one, I have no idea what to think yet. |

The only tracks I really enjoyed on this one were Number One and Bad Desire. I would have somewhat liked the new Doctor Love if they didn't go and remove the bass from the key sections. |
Posted by: beat freak Jan 9 2009, 11:33 PM |
Thanks for the upload. I orderdd the cd, but this is too sweet for now. The only song I didn't like was Daves- Space Boy remake. What's going on there. Did he mix up the master tapes with some classical piano jive thingie? 1. Special mega mix Revival hits. These are actually getting better with each release. I actually quite enjoyed that intro immensly. 2. Lou Hunter- A Never Ending Story. Good vocal work and arrangement. I vaugly remeber the Limahl original, but I'm sure Eurogrooves sounds better. The "ahs" are little too much but fit its atmophere 8+ 3. David Dima- Save A Prayer. Dima needs more space on SEB. This one sounds really powerful. I wish someone had thought of combining Dima and Simon Lebon's vocals together. I remeber his Hero themed songs. 9+ 4. Tipsy & Tipsy- Hung Up I love Madonna. I like this song a lot too. 8+ 5. Tina Ray- Video Killed The Radio Star This one is full of so much energy. Who is the girl singing. A new vocalist? 9+ 6. Mark Farina feat. F.C.F saifam classics work well. Not too much difference, but still catchy. 7 7. Kevin & Cherry- Doctor Love No Mike Hammer or halloween theme, but somehow the new version fits todays Eurobeat way better. 8+ 8. Annerly Gordon- Try Me AbeatC does not do too good on this cd. This song still sounds old and out of date, 6 9. Dejoro- Too Young To Fall In Love Edo sounded better and why are HRG Attacks vocalists doing backup on this track.LOL! 7+ 10.Go2- Hot Vampire My favourit song on the cd. So much NRG and power from this duo. Someone should do a mash up of both versions. 10 11. Go Go Girls- Looka Bomba. Not my favourit track, but damn close. The girls sound really in tune. 9+ 12. Fastway & Christine- Number One This one sounds even better than the original. More crisp sound and Fastway sounds more expert than his early days. So many added nick knacks here and there really breath new life into this SCP classic. 10 13. Pistol Girl- Ike Ike Another classic that just keeps getting better. They mixed older Vocalist with Leslie Hammond. Sounds just adorable. 10 14. Dave Roders & Co- Space Boy(grand mix) I didn't like this song at all. The pianos from a different song and doesn't fit. Great guitar worked completely gone to waste. Way to ruin one of your classic Dave. What's going on there? 0 One of the better cds in my opinion. SCP and HRG Attack take the prize. I'm starting to like Eurogrooves a lot too. Dave better get a hold of himself and stop trying to be so desperate. |
Posted by: DXPetti Jan 10 2009, 12:55 AM
I would but I find lossless utterly pointless. They get so large you might as well just take a ISO of the CD and upload that. Then you have a true 1 to 1 copy... Oh and it was my pleasure to upload the album, its a top notch one at that |

Posted by: Fad Jan 10 2009, 05:41 AM |
After having chance to hear this right through.... I`m with you Beat Freak about Rodgers, what on earth was going on there... it sounded like some kind of jazz pianist had woke up in the studio and started playing for no reason.......but you know I don`t like DR anyway, so nothing unusual there Dima - I hated Duran Duran after the very first album, so I didn`t like that either. Dejo - sounded like a regular SEB track to me, I liked it more or less. Fastway - couldn`t tell that much difference really. Go2, GoGo Girls & Kevin - didn`t catch my attention. Lolita - sounded the same except they took the open hi-hats out and upped the kick. Prefer the original. Lou Hunter - OK, but I`ve heard that song a million times by god knows how many different people, uninspiring version in my opinion. Mark Farina - was that a bit faster than the original ? OK I suppose. Pistol Girl - I prefer the TriStar version. Tina Ray - Nice idea, but that mans backing voice seemed too much for some reason, and possibly needed a stonger female vocal or bringing forward a bit more. Tipsy & Tipsy......them doing a cover of Madonna doing a cover of Abba. No. So on the whole a dissapointing SEB for me personally, but I had already predicted this, I was just hoping it wouldn`t I`m glad some people liked it though, so it wasn`t a total disaster |

I can safely say there wasn't a single song on this album that I DIDN'T like! I thought all of them were amazing. EVEN Space boy. I'll admit the piano intro was a little odd, but I thought just about every remake was fantastic! Thanks for the upload btw! |

The album seems pretty cool. Fastway & Christine were great!! Number One was pretty better than the original. Hot Vampire X Looka Bomba dissapointed me a little. I was expecting more nrg in the songs :\ Space Boy starts like a depressing song but then it was amazing. I liked it a lot. Thanks for the links Petti & ikk =) |

fantastic cd. best seb in a while. definitely best of the 190s (so far) |
Posted by: Bladeoz Jan 10 2009, 10:45 PM |
I thought I'd download, as I can't wait for my CD to arrive... but Space Boy. The one I was looking forward to the most is all over the place. It really does sound like a random piano player who wanted sound time decided to start playing every now and again to piss everyone off. It sounds so strange against the electric guitar. That guy who played Speedy Speedy Boy on the piano did it right, Dave missed it big with this. I really like Dave Rodgers music, but hell I'm disapointed overall. There are parts I like and I think that if some of the remixers here in the forums would be keen, this one (without the piano) mixed with the original song to fill would be awesome. |

Here's a Megaupload link (uploaded by me) to a 320 kbps MP3 rip of Super Eurobeat Vol. 193. Originally uploaded (and I'm assuming also ripped) by legmaco on jpopsuki. http://www.zshare.net/V1T9NKMP |

You posted something that was already uploaded twice and your makes a third post . And your repost was simply the rip that you get here. That legmaco is just stealing our stuff. |
Posted by: FAII Jan 11 2009, 11:01 AM
Oh, sorry. I clicked the link for the upload provided earlier and saw that it was only 140-something megs, so I just assumed that it was a 256 kbps or something rip. The rip I found on JPopsuki was 175 megs. I, however, didn't notice that when I rar:ed it, it was suddenly only 146 megs. MP3s usually don't shrink that much when rar:ed. Sorry for reposting what was apparently already posted. |

Regardless of where it was from...I`m sure people will appreciate another option to download from, should one go down for some reason. Just saying thanks for taking the trouble to do it |

Ah, you again SEB? Thanks a billion, -- erm... SEB? |
Posted by: Tessou Jan 15 2009, 11:47 AM |
I'll throw my name into this SEB auction hat again. See if I can win 3 in a row. |
Posted by: kyonpalm Jan 15 2009, 12:46 PM
DAAYAM! You won 191 AND 192?! |
Posted by: Pennywize Jan 15 2009, 12:49 PM |
Thanks for SEB 193. I love these latest albums |
Posted by: Lebon14 Jan 15 2009, 02:40 PM
there wasn't 191. lol When he's alone, it's *cough* easier to win... |
Posted by: Tessou Jan 15 2009, 03:37 PM |
Yeah, because it confirms my thought that this forum is full of leeches that don't want to pay money for music. I actually man up and put my money on the table instead of just eating up the links. Yeah. Let that stew for a while. |
Posted by: Lebon14 Jan 15 2009, 04:25 PM
I bought my album since 191 (included) so I did not need to buy Perry's. |
Posted by: Tessou Jan 16 2009, 04:21 AM |
That doesn't bar anybody from participating in the auction. You already have the album? That's great. Win another copy, and give it to a friend. Give the gift of music. Spread Eurobeat out! |
Posted by: Lebon14 Jan 16 2009, 06:01 AM
Two problems : 1. Money 2. No one likes eurobeat in my area except, obviously, myself Beside that, I wouldn't have any problem with your ideology. |
Posted by: Tessou Jan 16 2009, 09:08 AM |
You have enough money to only get one album? |
Posted by: Lebon14 Jan 16 2009, 10:26 AM
I bought many album these days but it was with all the money I received for Christmas and other source. I don't want to spend without seeing if I will make it at the end of the month, until my next monthly student loan. Anyway. Maybe you'll have a competitor though for 194... I don't think the album is really worth buying it at full price so... we'll see, we'll see! |
Posted by: DXPetti Jan 18 2009, 12:44 AM |
Come on now both of you have contributed to IDW's Eurobeat at one time or another. Lets leave it at that |
Posted by: powser Jan 18 2009, 03:02 AM |
Thanks for the upload.. I'm a para fan and hearing all these parapara classics remixed just kicks my ass! edit: in track 1 at 4:48 - 4:49 the word "star" seems to have been sang too fast like a mixing error. Is it just me or the CD or trackrip is bad? |
Posted by: Jayveemon Jan 18 2009, 08:20 AM |
Its the CD It sounds like DJ Boss just matched the vocals to beat for that bit. So I would say it's intentional. |
Posted by: YumeChan Jan 18 2009, 08:22 AM
Yeah right, leave it at that and sell the album to me! I'm entering the raffle, too. |
Posted by: powser Jan 18 2009, 09:07 AM
I see.. thanks for the confirmation! |
Posted by: Nightkids Jan 19 2009, 04:15 PM |
