Great for archiving the mods, but to be honest I don't see this subforum getting much activity in the future.

It could serve as a great place to go to for complexed guides/guides that have a very long elaborations. But social wise I dont think people are gonna use here to talk to each other much since Discord is a chat. All in all this subforum is good in helping us archiving stuff. doing announcements. posting F.A.Q. Showing an archived hall of fame of past tournament winners. (screenshots of bracket results)

basically this, I remembered I was about to actually make a longer guide on the nuking hex-editing process for ID6 / ID7 replay, but I got slapped by discord message box for having more than 2k characters facepalm.gif

I think it's a great place for detailed guides. Personally, I think Discord format makes it hard to do complex FAQs and it's hard to navigate through the pinned messages after awhile.

Discussion-wise not going to be as much used as Discord but I still think it's a great support to our ID Players group. Also it's also useful for serious discussions that might take longer format as well as not as time sensitive. Discord is great for chatting but sometimes I've found myself missing out on certain interesting discussions. Granted probabaly they'd not many discussions on this place, but hey it's here if we ever need it. I'll surely participate since I love the IDW forum format too.
