The best way to avoid these problems is to use VLC media player. It has its own built-in codecs so you never have to download extra codecs! It can view practically any type of media file.

Besides the K-Lite pack there is also the 'Ace Mega Codecs 6.0.3' pack which you can find by searching in google. I prefer it over the K-Lite. But choose the one which best meets your demands.

I would suggest to get the VLC player from their website and play it. Half the files i have dont play in windows media player even though i have the codecs pack.

OK here ya go:

Programs needed:
VirtualDub
TMPGEnc
Subtitle Tool
Subtitler

Steps:
1. Install all programs
2. Convert your sub files to .ssa with the Subtitle Tool if they aren't .ssa already
3. Open the movie in VirtualDub
4. Go to Video > Filters (Ctrl+F), click add and go down and find subtitler. Locate the .ssa file
5. Go to Video > Full processing mode (you must do this because the filter requires it)
6. Go to File > Start frame server
7. Save it as anything.vdr
8. Open TMPGEnc and where it says Video source, open the .vdr file
9. Click Start

Hmm ... that's all I can think of right now. This process does take a while. Ask me if you have any questions.

just go find BSPlayer. It's a free download and you can load the subs and movie seperately in two steps.

easy and non-time consuming.

How do you make a torrent anyway? I'm working on an Initial D Fourth Stage dub and I was thinking of releasing it like that to people who'd like to download it. It'll be funny!

Just be careful when installing and uninstalling these packs cause they can sometimes mess up your other codecs and cause some distortions in the videos (encoded with Xvid or Divx) you are watching...

Its .OGM not .OMG .. Lol! Use Gordian Knot if you're an experienced user, if not, just use any 1-2-3 converters out there.

Recheck your settings maybe you didn't decrypt the sounds or didnt set the sound output before encoding it.

I don't know if this is the correct thread to post this question in, but as I'm not allowed to start a new thread (?) I guess I have to.

What is the problem with the tracker and when/is it going to be fixed? I get "Tracker sending invalid data: d8:intervali1800e12:min intervali300e5:peers114:." errors all the time. I really want those BMI and Shuto Kousoku Trial movies. Thanks!

Which torrents are you trying to download ? Make sure you are not behind any firewall. The torrents should be all running fine. Last I checked, all BMI and Shuto Kousoku videos are seeded.
