i have adobe photoshop 7 and it's complicated and i was wondering what a good starter photo editor would be.

PSP7... but just FIND Tutorials on the internet to help you learn PS... because PS is MUCH better then PSP7... stick with it.

i was once n00b wit Adobe Photoshop... u just gotta pretti much screw around wit all the functions they have... and then read a couple of tutorials to learn some stuff.

i am still n00b wit photoshop but i can use its basic functions happy.gif

You wouldn't want to use paintshop for editing. Paint Shop Pro is decent, but not near as good as PS

each new adobe photoshop comes wit some extra functions... so if u want. i personalli have adapted to photoshop 7 for too long so i dont tend to move unless i format my computer. but yeah d/l away! happy.gif

okz... u could d/l it but ull be breaching alot of copyright laws! at least support adobe and purchase the product... somehow laugh.gif

if you dont like PS or are running a OS that cant use PS (linux) us The Gimp is just as good IMO.

The Gimp is free. Its open source you can get it right off thier website. Only thing they ask is if you modify the code you submit your modification so others can use it too if they like.

Just stik with PS7. PSCS activation software is a big pain in the ass.

there's also painter8 (corel) and opencanvas3. opencanvas1 is free and it has this function, network-drawing which is really great. photoshop 8 (CS) is out btw.

stick with ps7 is my advice. everyone uses it.

buy a wacom tablet. everyone needs one of these

Photoshop is for image editing and Imageready is for animation. They come together in a bundle since PS 6
