What is the difference between a Street Racer & a Road Racer?

isn't the "road" part of the "street"?

Road/Street is the same thing, just depends on who translated it, like in some episodes the subs say "86" well in others the subs say "Hachi-roko (sp?)"

Jus use some common sense

Its not such a dumb question: A street racer might be someone who races around on in town public streets, like those civic bastards in LA. And a road racer could be people like Takumi and such. But anyway i agree that in this case both road racer and street racer are the same. Just trying to point out it is not such a stupid question.

but it is a stupid question street racer is interchangable with road racer. They are both the same thing, just like STREET and ROAD are the same thing.

well, i guess there is sort of a differance, dont be so mad. street racer is one who races on streets("those civic bastards in la") but a road racer can be one juss racing on the road(real circuit/course racing OR street, kinda like a square is a rectangle, but a rectangle isn't a square type of thing). road racer, as in, not rally racer. maybe that's wut he means? but in the way he used it in Initial D, its the same thing.

plz dont say that road racing and circuit racing are the same, because they are not, sure a circuit is technically a road, but the term road/street racer is applied to someone who races on PUBLIC roads/streets

It's just that when people brag about working 60hrs aweek, and are proud of it, I just think what kind of dumb ass he is, and what kind of company would actualy let him work there.

I mean, if some one else can get the same amount of work done in a 40hr work, I give him more props since he worked smart, and not hard.

Thats how I see it at least. I work three nights a week, and and make as much as 1,500 those three nights. So why should I work more?
