Please understand that most of us here have never had that pleasure to grace the presence of a GTR not to mention tune and drive it. |

Speak for your self. There are three GTR's in Milwaukee, a 32,33, and a 34 actualy. We know two of the people with them, the third one is owned by some old guy, so he doesn't race it | ||

We never got the Skyline here. So asking us here about experiences in tuning one is probably a bad idea. However being powered by the RB26DETT, I'm sure the twin turbo beast is modified just like all other high powered turbo engines. Start with the bottlenecks, the exhaust and intake, then move to ignition, fuel delivery, and then the turbos. '95 S14 www.projectaspec.com |

Shmuck Group: Members Posts: 7 Member No.: 172 Joined: Jan 8th 2003 Location: Update Profile | I own a Skyline but its not a GTR. So I have no idea how to tune your car, I just like to say that. I only got 6 months left with my beloved GTS-t. I know a dude with a 800 hp R32.? Like someone said, open up the exhaust and intake. The RB's love that. Great power increase. Here's what I've done (even though its just a RB20DET), HKS intake, GTS full intake plenum (GTS=non turbo Skyline, have bigger intakes and TB's) and TB, Supra front mount intercooler (ganked off a twin turbo Supra), GTS cams, HKS exhuast, head pipe, down pipe, and test pipe. All pretty cheap and easy, and I beat most GTS-t around. Hope that helps a little. |

And you don't even want to know what I'd do if I had the chance to work on an RB.... '95 S14 www.projectapec.com |
