Seeing as there aren't many hunters on the forums to begin with, I'm not surprised that there wasn't a thread for this earlier. I'm going to make a thread anyway to just keep track of how many people are interested and as a personal thoughts journal on how I am progressing through the game in relation to my peers who may also frequent the forums.  |

| After playing this game for a couple of weeks, I find it as fun as the other installments in the series. But with that being said the new weapon and armor crafting and updating systems are so confusing. I don't want to farm mook monsters to make an elder dragon weapon. Sure its useful to use common drops or anything else that you have to upgrade weapons, its allows for more fluid weapon upgrade pathways as opposed to the other games where you have to have common drops and rares to upgrade. But end game, you still need to have those rare drops in MHX. I find it really annoying. I'm 48+ hours into the game and I still have a crappy weapon. I can't play the game without getting frustrated or carried. |
