most of the mr2's for sale are old automatics from 1989 to 1994 is the latest one ive seen.

I was looking into a 240z for a toy aswell but most of the ones on sale are done up already and sell for $15~$17k which is no fun

Yeah, if you're looking for a BEAMS G-Limited you should be prepared to actually hunt for it. They're not common, but they're certainly around in New Zealand. If you're looking at a GT/GT-S then 1994 onwards are all the same engine as far as I'm aware.

I wouldn't bother with a 240Z unless you're willing to import from Japan or restore one of the shitty rust boxes that are left in New Zealand. Or settle for one of the 2+2s that seem so awfully common here awesome.gif

Compared to the other cars recently mentioned, I'd have to agree. ^^

Would rather get a mk3 Supra.

Yes 89 is the first year for R32s. Not a bad thing though, this one seems really clean in and out. 1989-1994 is virtually identical unless its a Vspec or N1 model so its not a big deal.

Anyone remember the 80's JPN car races from GT3,GT4? This car was the perfect weapon for it.

Well what to say, with petrol prices as high as they are now, a performance car for a daily driver is no longer a viable option ^^.

I bought a 2009 Honda NXR (MOTORCYCLE NO NSX LOLOLOL) 125cc for daily driving and was thinking of selling the Impreza and buying something cheaper.

I perfer a low cost hatch back.

Really wanted a Honda CRX or Nissan pulsar gti-r but have had no luck finding anything close to the condition and price I wanted.

Others in the race= ek9 civic, mr2, mx5~

With the low numbers of actual 240's left, would hate to see some "tricked" out in whatever manner he deems fit

Side note: yes, I'm back at least briefly...

I like that. There's something special about those cars.

The Evos are the same way. Once you own one you can't go back, people constantly sell them and months later buy another one. The current US marketing seems to have it summed up pretty well:

Love.
