Yesterday night (2/21) I was at Golfland playing Initial D at about 10:47pm ; I was with my brother, Ryan, and his friends. I was playing my last game and my brother said he would go outside for a smoke. . . So yeah, I'm drifting playing, playing drifting, and my brother comes running in saying we have to go now! So I finish up my game and come outside. . . Geez I didn't even know what happened at the time and my brother's friend starts Driving about 95mph on the freeway . . . When we got to Brian's house (Friend) we called up all his friends to ask what had happened . . . "Anthony spun out on the freeway and hit a tree." sad.gif They were on their way to San Francisco for some Crabing and Fishing. . . Damn. . . Good Friend, Great Racer . . .

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I hope the family of Anthony will be able to heal from this experiance. Jan. 15 a kid at my school, in my grade, and possibly one of the most popular kids in my grade finally lost the 2 year battle against cancer. DJ (Douglas James) Farrar: 2/21/1989-11:20AM 1/15/03 so yesterday would of been his 14th birthday.

Death is part of life. From the second you are born you are sentenced to death. People need to learn to get over it and not dwell on it.

I guess thats true, but its not a really nice thing to say to someone who is coping with a loss of a friend. If your friend died, i bet you wouldnt be like "oh well, nevermind".

My cousin died in December. He and his friend were on there way to a school dance when he went over a hill too fast and lost control and went head first into a tree. My cousin was probably one of my best friends, we would always go out, talk, chill, mess around with our cars, go to the clubs, DJ, hit Ibiza, play games, and so on. Did it bother me? Yeah, it did, but do I make a big deal about it? No. there were so many people at his funeral that didn't even know him, and that made me real mad. They only went because everyone one else was.

There are some things you do in private, and not post it on a forum.

Man I'm really sorry about your friend. I know what it's like, I had a friend that died too(just last October). I haven't seen him since Jr. High but it was really sad, he was only 15.

or losing body parts. alot of us are blessed that all of our parts are there and function properly, and in racing u can lose stuff that will make you rather be dead. ..look at Alex Zanardi, one of the best F1(or was he CART?) and got into accident, now he dosent have any of his legs. . .sad . .. racing is dangerous. .but addicting..
