Whenever I run Disk Clean Up and select from the choices, it gives me some sort of error:

QUOTE
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\WINDOWS\system32\cleanmgr.exe

And it goes on to say how it has to be terminated in an unusual way. Maybe I suck at google, but I can't find my answer. :/ Anybody have a clue?

What is the problem you are trying to fix? Just to give a clue of what went wrong. smile.gif

That would be helpful. Haha.

I'm trying to clean up my driver and when I run Disk Clean-Up, it closes it after that error.

Please do the following in an elevated prompt :
CODE
sfc /scannow

On Vista/Win7, start orb -> search "cmd" -> right-click result -> Open as Admin -> Accept the UAC prompt
On XP -> start -> Run -> cmd.exe

Copy & paste the results.

That checks the integrity of the system files.

Whenever I do this, this comes up

and then nothing.

Did you run the command prompt in Adminstrator mode. Note that you'll have to wait until it finishes.

Yes sir. I did do it in Admin. I'm the only account on here and I did wait for it to finish. Nothing happens. Could it be some sort of trojan?

Anybody have a clue? I've been trying to figure this out. I scanning like "sfc /scannow" and no results are showing up.

sounds fishy... virus/malware/spyware scan should be your next port of call. Some of those buggers won't let you run windows utilities.
