Based loosely off Genki's racing game series, particularily kaido 3/txrd2's timeline(which is also the primary game used to film most scenes). But with a lot more originality. A lot of work was done to make it unique and stand out on it's own series, even though i dont have that much animation skills or a budget. I think my characters, realism, etc is better. Note: the only similarities to initial D are a few parody jokes, a young protagonist who drives a classic car, and real touge locations/theories.
