QUOTE (sideways @ 10 minutes, 22 seconds ago)
Iac or sensor most likely.  IF it is the ecu, why get that one rebuilt?  Why not just find a second hand ecu?

1st gen fed spec VR-4 ECU's can sometimes be a bit difficult to find and the price for a used one can be ridiculous. I'd rather have it rebuilt by a reputable person for a good price (about 100 - 200 bucks) and not worry about it anymore. I have a place in mind but I'm hoping it doesn't come down to that due to the shipping time/process time/return time. We have already changed out the MAF and MFI so we are down to the IAC and ECU. Just keepin my fingers crossed. Thanks Tuskano. :3

Or it could be a vacuum leak? I dunno, Fred's SR does funky vacuum stuff with the brakes and doesn't idle right, so...

Just throwing it out there.

I'm voting IAC, just because of my experience with Mitsus.

Well she is finally running on her own without any issues and ready to come home this weekend! I'm pretty excited. Here's a before and after picture. Work of almost a year has been put into it. Can't wait for the meet-up next month! happy.gif

So clean... looks like you had some 3000gt stuff added on too. And changed the side of your gas cap. And the mirrors are moved farther forward lol.

Do you have a parts car behind it? biggrin.gif

Well the original photo was facing the other way so I flipped it to make it easier to compare the two photos. That's why it shows the little gas cap door is on the top photo and not the bottom. happy.gif; Yeah some 3KGT things were added to help balance out the looks of the car. Parts car? I wish! I bought all parts new both OEM and aftermarket. I only got aftermarket parts for areas where they would perform better than stock.
