Seeing a spider is nothing. It becomes a problem when it disappears.

My room seems to be a paradise for spiders. I caught one and released it to the nature. A few days later I discovered two new spiders. I know the places of them but I don't wanna know how many spiders are actually hidden in my room. derp.gif

Last year I found a spider in my computer.

Oh fancy! You got to see a taiko performance? Tell me, what sort of stance did they use and was it loud? Did you feel it in your heart? Did they have energy and enthusiasm? happy.gif

The taiko shots were taken by my brother. I've seen so many of them I don't pay much attention when they happen anymore. There's three big festivals every year and for each one they run like half a dozen shows... having been to these festivals for a few years now, I can say I get taiko'd out pretty easily.

But yes, every time I do watch one it is fantastic.

Few shots from a Sunday market I went to a few weeks ago. Plenty of interesting bric-a-brac alongside lots of fresh produce!

Just received back my first roll of developed film negatives, plus scans. I've discovered that shooting film is an absolute, absolute joy.

Living in such an urban environment for most of my life. I'm not really used to seeing this much green and nature around. Its a little overwhelming. Still wonderful though, I wish I just had the time to relax and take a break from being busy more often.

RED PANDA! Right? These shots are amazing! Now I must ask, how long did you stand around waiting for the animal to get into view and everything? Or were they just like that when you found them?

Yup! Firefox! I looove red pandas, but they seemed to spend most of their time hiding in the trees while we were there. We probably loitered around the enclosure for 5 minutes or so and I took a couple of other shots but preferred the lighting of that one.

The enclosures at Auckland Zoo are mostly open air, so you can basically just watch the animals doing their thing. Beyond that it's just a matter of having a lens with enough reach smile.gif

Thanks guys! I'm actually quite impressed with the lens' performance for the cheetah shot myself, as that was shot through some thick, reflective and rather fingerprinted and dirty glass. Not to mention the crowd of small children huddle against most of the length of it tongue.gif
