I was thinking of starting a new series "The Limited Edition Championships" basically...only Limited Edition cars are used(cars with the actual words "limited edition", "LM", etc.. in their names) and also Special Edition cars that you buy fromt he manufacturer(ie, Tom's Castrol Supra, S2000 GT1, etc) with the exception of the GT-One and the Pikes Peak cars of course. and it'll be raced in teams of 2 drivers. everybody races 5 laps on the selected course and the after a week the times will be ranked and points will be awarded(same point system as JGTC).

1st = 10pts.
2nd = 8pts.
3rd = 6pts.
4th = 4pts.
5th = 2pts.
6th and below = 1pt

then the team mates combine the points earned. for example, if I placed 3rd and my partner placed 2nd then we would have 14 points in the series. This is a series so once you start you have to finish it(you must race all the races)...you'll have a week to post your times. If a Team member does not race then he will receive a DNF(Did Not Finish) and the team will receive 0 points for that participant. then at the end of the series the team with the most points wins the series. or we could just do this as individuals.

Car/Race Restrictions/Rules

Drivetrain: FR, FF, MR, RR, 4WD/AWD
Tires: Any type, any combination
HP: no limit
Keep at least two tires on the track @ all times
No hitting walls
Once a car is selected it can only be changed after 2 races(ie I cannot change cars until the 3rd,6th,9th,etc.. race)
ACS and TCS are optional

The Races will be 5 lap races on the assigned course in arcade mode with other cars on the track. This is so we get a precise time after 5 laps. Don't think fastest overall time will get you points either...the 3 racers with the 3 fastest lap times will also receive 1 point each.

This is a 10 Course Series with the 10th Race being a 30 lap endurance race

1)Grand Valley Speedway
2)Special Stage Route 5
3)Seattle Circuit
4)Deep Forest
5)Midfield
6)Trial Mountain
7)Laguna Seca
8)Apricot Hill Raceway
9)Rome Circuit
10)Grand Valley Speedway Reverse 30 lap Endurance Race(tire damage ON)

if you're wondering why these courses...it's because this will be a Gran Turismo 2/Gran Turismo 3 series. You can use either game for this series. why you ask? because I wanna participate too!! lol

Times will be posted like this

Team Members: Fred/Bob
Member:Fred
Car:RX-7 LM Edition 558HP
Lap Times:
x"xx.xxx
x"xx.xxx
x"xx.xxx <--
x"xx.xxx
x"xx.xxx
Total Time: Xx"xx.xxx

the arrow is to indicate the fastest lap out of the 5 laps. if it was the 2nd lap then the arrow will be on the 2nd time and if it was the 4th then the arrow will be on the 4th time, and so on and so forth.

This is just a suggestion...so if you're interested post here saying if you're in or if you have any suggestions.

we'll need an EVEN number of participants for teams of 2 if you want the teams of 2.

I'm thinking of increasing the laps to 10 laps

your parnter can be from anywhere. it's not like jayson's where you switch half way. you both race the full race eac and we rank the times. then we combine the points you earn and the points your partner earns

I'm thinking of putting in a fastest top speed..like the 2 racers with the top speeds will get an extra point each.

Doesn't "LM" stand for Le Mans, not Limited Edition?

OK. Just think it's weird to write it "LM" for short. "LE" or "LTD" or something else would make more sense.

GT3 is a game that can not really be taught, it is a game that is insanly easy to pick up.... Insanly hard to master. The only way to learn anything in GT3 is to practice... No one can just write down some words that will teach you anything that you can not teach yourself. Do what we did... PRACTICE.
