   Hey guys, my friend is trying to sell her Mazda 6 2003 we are trying to find out what this piece is called? We went to our local mechanic he stated that the car over heats he said that this part is the reason why the car keeps over heating bad thing we dont know what the part is called. Greatly appreciate the help if anyone knows. |

| It's the control module for the cooling fans. If it's bad, the fans won't kick on, so the car will overheat while stationary and at low speeds. |

Yes, thank you I did found out what the piece was online, That is what is currently happening to the car right now we bought the piece and replaced it. But since the car was overheating the radiatior fan wiring melted  now we have to buy a whole new radiator fan for the car.I swear this Mazda 6 hands down I think is the most shittiest car ever made. I cant believe how much problems this car has already had so far. |

| Chances are something other than heat toasted the wiring. I'd check ohms and resistance on the fan circuit and make sure there's not an issue with one or both motors. That could have fried both the controller and the wiring. I'd check the ground for corrosion as well. |
