I`m thinking of swapping out the Skyline for another car...any suggestions. It seems like the trueno might be a good fit :x |

You see I'm kind of new to this game and I got pretty far in the Skyline, which was my first car, and then I kept losing to Kyle u_u. At that time I choose to try a different car and choose the FD and promptly kicked Kyle's ass. (Kyle in Akagi btw). I started using the FC when I went up against Hawk for the heck. First I lost by a bit, and then the second time I won by a lot >_> I'm not so sure about the skyline as it has a type 7 engine mod and both the Rx-7s are stock and I'm still better in them. I'm just looking for a general car really that's deccent uphill and downhill. |

The R34 is used primarily in Tsukuba Inbound, but is usually foregone due to it having less than desirable handling. HOWEVER. Losing in the beginning is normal; even if you had a car that goes from 0-60 in less than a second. If you're still losing to story mode characters on your first playthrough, the question is not what car you should be using, but your technique. Most cars are very general-feeling, so skills with one car are similar to another. Try not to focus too much on your car. Unless you want one because it appeals to you, it can wait until you're attempting to break Time attack records with the course advantage of said car. |
