So my worst one yet happened today on a V3 machine.

Went to go into full wheel lock, wheel is broken and wheel locks WAYYY EARLY!

Hand slips.

Shifter has no under side so it's just a nice big sheet of metal

I think Wolf sprained his thumb playing IDAS3 before. IIRC he had to wear a cast for a few weeks. I'm pretty sure he posted about it here on the forums.

Well, at the height of my IDAS3 playing, I got this bruise on my back from pressure against the back of the seat.

Did anyone else have that same problem in IDAS3/4?

I was playing on an old V2 machine a while back with a broken wheel, and, I was turning hard, the wheel locked early, my hand flies off the wheel, and I hit myself on the balls. That's 'bout it. laugh.gif

I remembered when I was playing (IDAS4) Irohazaka with one-hand (all the way) (for the 1st time). After I use too much strength, my hand was cramp (with the bone cracking sound) blink.gif and I need about 1+ week to fully recover.

(For now, I will only use one hand on some corner, afraid of getting cramp again...) sad.gif

Hahahahahahaha

I once cut the outside of my right index finger with my left thumb nail when I turned too hard. It was weird, and bled alot, cause the flap of skin was gone.

Yeah, my entire arm area halfway to my elbow was in a cast when I sorta sprained/broke my thumb (it bent backwards) on a "freak-tst-accident" while I was playing Tsuchisaka IB back in ver3. When I tried to start the 2nd eraser motion for the TST after the lock, my thumb hit the box below the shifter while trying to reach for the shifter itself. Because of the motion, the speed and the force I exerted to do the move, it really caused a lot of damage. I was doubling over in pain. I tried to do a simple eraser after that and my thumb really bent over backwards.

The worst part was trying to explain it to the doctors in the emergency room.

Doctor: "So, what happened? What were you doing?"

Wolf: "Well I was trying to do a TST when I was playing Initial--- errr, uhm, uh... well I was *ahem* playing Basketball and I caught a pass the wrong way. Right, thats how it went."

Haha I would have thought of the most manly thing possible.

" I was walking in the woods with my trusty rifle hunting deer, when this tiger jumped out of a tree. He smacked the gun out of my hand, and had no choice but to use my thumbs and dig them deep into his eye. It's hand swiped my thumb and cracked, but I didn't stop and bit his paw as hard as I could. He whimpered as he limped out of sight.

hahahahah

Other than a sore lower back, nothing really major.

I have a callus near the base of my right hand's index finger that is still visible half a year after i stopped playing IDAS on a regular basis.

Also back in V3, i sometimes got a bruise on my lower back. Didn't notice it until my gf pointed it out to me....

I accidently didn't steer hard enough for one hairpin on Akina, ended up crossing my arms over. My left underarm was sore for about two days.

I had something similar to Wolf's story happen to me way back during V3 though it wasn't as bad. I was playing Akina DH and I think it was those 2 hairpins at the start of section 2.

Went through the first one okay then, when the second one was up, I turned left and didn't notice that I kept my right hand's thumb extended and it hit the shifter box hard.

Said thumb didn't bend backwards but it hurt like hell and was swollen pretty badly for a little over a week. For better or worse, I still managed to play normally after the initial pain was gone. XD

lol, today when i was challenging other people for IDAS4, when i exert more force and intend to turn faster, accidentally, my finger hit the steering wheel and my finger (thumb) nail cracked... (luckily it was the white part that crack)
