Started off playing Version 3 in 2005, due to the popularity it garnered from many players in the city. I still play it, but not as much as I would like to.

I've played Version 2 only a couple of times. Never played Version 1.

Version 1 was my first. It was cool...coz everybody had an FD (it was THE car to have coz it was the fastest on all courses) which evened the playing field. So, the best was the best coz he/she had the best skills.

retarded special stage? blink.gif
I think that version is the best one IMO. It offers the most number of courses and songs. Plus usui and myogi are the real ones (the myogi in Ver4 is still wrong).

Although Version 1 was my first, I played Version 3 a lot more. Version 2 not so, but I enjoyed it cuz it was already fast. No TST or eraser. smile.gif

Between Ver 1-3,Special,and Street Stage which all of them more or less has the same physics,I'd rate them like this.

1-Ver.3
2-Special Stage
3-Street Stage
4-Ver.2
5-Ver.1

My first was Version 4, because I found it a lot fun.

Then I played Special Stage because it's also fun and I've mastered most of the courses especially Akina. Unfortunately, it broke so I went back to v4.

I started out in Version 3. I don't really remember why I started playing though I assume it was cuz of the anime' (oddly enough, 4th Stage was the first one aired here). XD

I started with version 4 cos I started playing at Nov 2007 when it was just released. I assumed that the later the version, the better, so i played it. I never really played ver 3 except for a few tries.

I started playing v1 at good ol' Southern Hills Golfland before it closed down =( rest in peace, old friend. I was like the only white kid in that arcade, everyone laughed cuz my card name was GWILO =P

Haha v1 was so bad it was awesome, I was still an AW11 fan back then so I made an SW20... the SW20 was a completely unmanageable swimming piece of fishtaily shit! I didn't actually learn how to PLAY the game until I got into Subies and made a GC8.

I'll never forget my first time on Myogi Dry Day, climbing up that hill, when that horribly high screeching guitar note in Beat Of The Rising Sun (or was it Outer Space Boy?) made me cringe and hit the wall =)

aah, memories. Still like AS4 the best so far though.

Version 1:

The very first Initial D I ever played.

Version 2:

Never showed up so never played Version during that timeline.

Version 3:

Went from V1 to V3 and boy was it good. If I had continued playing I would have improved even further with the Cappuccino and Trueno combo I had back them but alas, those days are gone.

It was also at this point that Version 2 appeared.

Version 4:

Have YET to see a Version 4 over here In P.R.
