So I just was curious when everyone starting playing initial d. I, myself started way back in version 1. Didn't even know what initial d was or that it was even a show.

My arcade got Initial D 3 and Maximum Tune 2 at the same time. Both games were packed around that time. I started off at Initial D 3. Played a couple games. Switched over to Maximum Tune 2. Simply liked that game better. Haven't played an Initial D game since till our arcade got 4.

I rarely played Ver 2 because I was young and too far from me. Got serious when I found Ver 3 locally.

Ver 2 at Acme
Ver 3 at Tilt
Ver 4 at Narrows
lolz.

I played Version 2 first. I actually didn't get a chance to play Version 3 until late last year. laugh.gif I played Version 4 before Version 3. But I wanted to play Version 3 real bad. So I was visiting Tokyo and we were in Asakusa, my girlfriend and I came across an arcade, and I wanted to drop on in of course. And I played a few games of Version 4. And noticed two Version 3 machines back in the corner, and played them for quite a bit.

the first version i played was version 3, i remember first playing it the day i turned 19 in '05... although i was already watching people play v2 however i was a bit afraid to try it back then...

...ironically, the place where i first got to play v3 was also where i got my first exposure of ID4 on the day where it was first launched here in the philippines (that venue was glorietta on the last sunday of july '07 IIRC)...

i started with V3.. but the problem is was using EG6 at first.. then slowly i moved on to Capp and S2K.. but burnt it all up.. i even used an RX7 before.. a lot of cars but i rarely played.. too the card and thats it..

so i really got serious with Version 4.. learning the real physics, the cornering and stuff.. so there it is..

Were suppose to get it when it goes to the ver 3 cabnit ( wth?? ) but its Namco SO I highly doubt Vegas Will ever have it ( NOT even gameworks has it :'(!!
