IDW God Member Group: Members Posts: 190 Member No.: 25,623 Joined: Aug 1st 2007 Location: Phoenix, AZ | All times are v1.5 with a FT AE86 (racing engine) Irohazaka (dry) Downhill 2'50''344 Reverse 2'54''331 Irohazaka (wet) Reverse 2'55''832 That dhd time is MAKING ME MAD. the 1st spot on our machine is a 2.47.xxx at CP2 i'm only 0.8s behind, but at CP3 my speed is horrid it seems, and I suddenly go from .8s to 2.5ish behind. I think it's at the section with the jumps that's killing my time. oh, I do notice that I try not to hit any walls on iro, so I'm not really using any wallraping haha. Yeah, but the reason why I try not to is because I haven't quite figured out how to do it perfectly. Some turns I can do it perfectly fine, but other's I screw up BAD. So for now I'm just trying to get my fastest runs without wallrape, and start figuring out how to get faster times WITH wallrape. This post has been edited by Kazuki on Aug 1 2008, 12:51 AM | ||

IDW God Member Group: Members Posts: 190 Member No.: 25,623 Joined: Aug 1st 2007 Location: Phoenix, AZ | that must be the reason why I'm over 2 seconds slower at CP3 compared to the person with a 2.47.xxx at my arcade. I don't have to rape much through CP1 and CP2 but there's that jump section that I guess you have to rape to get through fast. edit: I went back to the arcade and bought a new card with a stock FD on it, then started doing TA on Tsukuba Out/dry Best time was 2:58.61. Not bad for me considering before I wasn't able to do better than a 3.06 in my FT ae86 After that I decided to use my AE86 and got this time 2'56''652 that's 10 seconds better than my previous best. and good enough to make it within the top 100 haha.
