Is it bad that I learned with one-handed steer?

It's served me well so far, on all courses but Iro... It only depends on the stiffness of the wheel, at least, I think that's it. I'm no real expert, so yeah.

IMO it's very hard to run a good line with only one hand on the wheel. You really need the extra hand to keep it stable.

Since me and my friend havent been able to find a Version 4 machine near us we have been doing Gumtape Death matches lol, and they hurt like crap xD

i do one hand steering just for quick shifting for about 10 sec.

Joshima uses one hand not because it is more skillful but because he changes his line to confuse his opponents and is supremely confident in his line. Takumi spooking him only made him use both hands and his super time line which left Takumi in the dust.

for the past few days ive been only racing with one hand and seems more comfortable to me. I use steering sensitivity 10.
