Hi, i am another evo 3 user. So have you got the misfiring system already? How does it sounds like? Cool? Also, does it also helps to reduce speed penalty when cornering just like other car? thx

Hi, thanks for your reply! Eh i don't get what you mean by saying "its not as anywhere near as loud as kyoichi's one"? Eh or do you mean that players must get the kyoichi's muffler so that it can be loud? How is your tuning for your evo 3 now? Care to share? Thx.

no i simply mean no matter what you get, exterior has NO effect on ANYTHING in the game. the MFS we get is simply not as loud as the one you hear when u vs kyochi.

rofl, you'll get how to beat him sooner or later... quite simple actually, you just have to know how to run akina, if you want to beat bunta with ease try TAing akina till your time is around 3'10-3'11 then see if you can constantly run 3'12's etc. you'll improve a lot by just watching someone run a time like 3'10 or under. no. Confirm don't have misfiring system. Hi avaultz... I feel that IDAS V3 is louder than IDAS 4 when comparing the misfiring system. It won't affect your horsepower cos misfiring system is to help you to reduce speed penalty when you are cornering just like other cars with ECU at STEP 7. Hope this helps... Eh frankly speaking... I feel that the misfiring system seems normal to me... I don't really feel that it is loud. Maybe the arcade machine that i played just now, did not increase the volume or something? EVO 3, at STEP 7, is misfiring system. To me, it is just like other cars with ECU at STEP 7. ECU at STEP 7, definitely helps you to reduce speed penalty when cornering. Therefore it do helps in performance. Eh if you were to ask me, between ECU and engine, which is better? I would strongly recommend you to tune your engine to STEP 7 first. For other cars, ECU at STEP 6 is SUB Computer and STEP 7 is FULL Computer! But for EVO 3, ECU at STEP 6 is FULL Computer and STEP 7 is Anti-lag CPU system! If this is really so, EVO 3 would have an additional upgrade for the ECU compare to other cars. It should performs better. But i wonder who can confirm this. Hmm... Hope this helps... This post has been edited by skylord2002 on Aug 10 2007, 08:21 AM

Diesel freak! Group: Advanced Members Posts: 1,948 Member No.: 25,899 Joined: Aug 15th 2007 Location: Malaysia | One front and rear bumper is 30k points each if I'm not mistaken... and a set of side skirt is 25k points... 30k+30k+25k = 85k Even if both bumpers[front and rear] is 50k each, the total is still cheaper than ground effect kit 50k+50k+25k= 125k After all it's all about preference. You like it, spend 150k and smile... you hate it then don't touch it. I falls in the second one... |
