I'm always viewing the forums on my phone, and 1 problem I've encountered several times is with YouTube in spoiler tags. It basically spoils the rest of the thread after that post. For example, if possible, view the following thread on a mobile device.

https://idforums.net/index.php?showtopic=42772&st=3425

I'm on the Galaxy S II btw.

This is what it looks like on my end.

Confirmed also on a Galaxy SII, page breaks, but can be navigated once the spoilers are opened, that might help in locating the bug.

Yup, I noticed it this morning too. There are a couple of places where the screen get's huge or broken when there are spoiler tags or youtube videos embedded in the post. I usually fix the problem by rotating the screen to fix the problem. I'll see if I can find any other threads that do that and link them here.

Oh, I probably should as Perry if he has any problems like this with his iPhone. (I'm also working on the Galaxy SII. laugh2.gif )

This is being looked into and it's most likely a html/css problem.

Lol'd, you really think browsers on phones should be 100% bug free in 2012? Give it 5-10years pal. Thanks for playing ~

Wow, that was a fairly uneducated post. Perry is trying very hard to make sure that the mobile side of IDW (which, by the way, is formatted specifically for mobile browser use!) is compatible with all devices.

Why you would throw that work out with such a poor comment is... facepalm.gif

Yes, actually.

And they are. It's not an issue of the browser being a problem, it's a problem in the way the site code works with it. The site is what needs to be updated, not the browser. It's a forwards-compatibility issue.

A smart phone is a computer, just like the one you're browsing on now.

It's as if you didn't even read Perry's diagnosis. Phone browsers are more than equipped to tackle something as simple as a spoiler tag. The site itself is the issue, because the mobile skin is set to make everything as small and simple as possible, which can lead to a few bugs.

Knowing who you are and your history here, I honestly was expecting a post like this when I saw your name on the "most recent post" line. sad.gif
