Do your EXP1.0 cards work on it? (for transfer). Last I recalled an SG forumer went over to Japan with an EXP2.0 card, and put it in a Japanese machine, and it didn't work. If this is the same Jap ver 1.1 that the Japanese are playing now, I'd think it'd be as pointless as EXP1.0...since your avatar and rank up needs online (they cannot level up offline - In Store for Jap 1.1 works the same way as EXP1.0), and barring a miracle I don't think they have the online. Now why would suddenly so many arcades get JP 1.1 (especially when V6AA is around the corner!) is beyond me.... :/ This post has been edited by Phoenix_Cypher_K1 on Jan 10 2011, 02:55 PM |

Most likely they thought it would Have the EXP 2.0 functions. But they failed big time This post has been edited by Akii on Jan 10 2011, 09:32 PM |

yep, what a dissappointment penang is not very different from KL..but we are still left behind in this matter sadly, many arcades here are also poorly mantained...last time i played ver.3 at komtar i nearly lost my lvl. 21 R32 because of card reader failure..fortunately after i played at prangin, my card are still ok..whew | ||

Now the arcades are bringing in a "newer ver" that has no transfer..yeah, good luck getting any profit from it -.- |

IDW Expert Member Group: Members Posts: 143 Member No.: 17,851 Joined: May 17th 2006 Location: North Kanto Region | guys, i've been to prangin mall yesterday evening and discovered the ID5 v1.1 there by myself. here's the difference.... ver. 1.1 is kinda like japanese version before it is distributed to overseas. it's menu text are also in japanese...for instance, if you inserted your card when you want to start playing in EXP ver, there are message appeared in english: "THIS IS AN OVERSEAS ARRANGE VERSION" (if i'm not mistaken) but in ver 1.1, the message appeared fully in japanese fonts... no wonder you can't use ur EXP ver cards in 1.1 ver machines, since the computer can't read english card data. u can make a ver 1.1 card there, and use it like usual there..but i dunno whether ver 1.1 card can be read in ver EXP machines... the differences is similar to IDASv3 Japanese and English version...same game, different language... anyway, if u want to play ID5 in penang, better make ur card at EXP ver machines such as at queensbay or gurney plaza...there's no guarantee that cards u made at prangin can be used at other places...if it can't, it such a waste of 14 ringgit.. |

Hmmm, I guess it's really hard to use and play then. It would be nice if there was more exp 2.0s though. Did they ever fix the one in Cheras, or is it still busted? |
