- UPDATES : Animax has confirmed that Final Stage will be available on its subscription-based VOD (Video On Demand) service starting May 16th, 2014. It will continue where Fifth Stage left off. Consist of a total of four episodes, Final Stage will be focusing on the long-awaited final 86 vs 86 battle between Takumi and Shinji. [confirmed]
- UPDATES : Avex has confirmed that the New Initial D The Movie will be a trilogy. First part of the trilogy is called Legend 1 -Awakening- slated for release in theaters on August 23rd, 2014 (Japan Only) [confirmed]

One team member drives, and then the other instructs the driver what drift technique to use, when to shift up/down, etc. Both member are female, but they are very talented. They drive a Nissan Sileighty...  by testing did you meen, "Just seeing who knows this"? |

They're the fastest racers on that mountain pass (well until Takumi came along) so I'm guessing even if there was a team they wouldn't be worth racing. Kinda like the Speedstars when the Red Suns came to challenge them. As for Impact Blue, Sayuki doesn't tell Mako how to drive/use drift technique/when to shift/etc. Her only purpose is to act as a "navigator" so Mako can concentrate on driving. So if anything, Sayuki concentrates on the course more than the driving. She tells her how close to get to the guardrail and how fast she should try to negotiate corners, what turns are coming up, what hazards are in the road, when oncoming traffic is coming, etc. Alex |

the speed stars isn't just iketani and Kenji there's other members too but iketani and kenji are numbers 1 and 2 on the team(takumi isn't part of the team so he's not #1) and they're the only ones that are friends wif takumi did you notice how we never saw kenji race??? we saw iketani sorta race......(always crashed....but still) | ||
