IDW Member Group: Members Posts: 25 Member No.: 23,456 Joined: Mar 3rd 2007 Location: Update Profile | acutally, can anyone run more than 3:06 on akina with any untuned cars? since i haven't seen anyone who can have good "times" with any untuned cars, i wonder if the key to be good is the matter of how much you have tuned ur car instead of how much techniques you've got, which is unlike ver3. The cappucino only hits the wall once, on the inside, making for smoother accel on the exit but it lacks the top speed that the MR2 generates so it becomes a line vs speed thing again. MR2 can take it back though. |

Hiretsuna rōjin Group: Advanced Members Posts: 6,779 Member No.: 16,670 Joined: Mar 16th 2006 Location: Montreal | how slow is a 3, 03.8xx with a 4 2 0 0 1-2 FD? had to use wall rape as i run it faster and avoid the invisble wall for the most part. im actually more comfortable with wall rape than without it. also how many opponets can be defeated in iro (diff-0) with a 3,04-3,04? i hope to cut it down to below 3 minutes if possible to make sure i can deal with them (atleast the 1st 2 ppl). |

If I remember correctly (and I don't at all >.<), I had to force myself to go 3'00 - 3'02-ish to beat Kai and keep him from passing me on the jumps. He led for about 0.5-ish for 2 seconds then I managed to reclaim the lead with PC. I'm guessing he just goes insanely fast towards the first jump, take it really fast, then exit slow. The following 4 jumps should be slower. |
