It's not so much as which cars are near the real deal, it's more like taking a look at real life tracks and understanding what those cars can do stock or performance tuned for a time attack. I find this a actual good way into working with the cars in the game, but I also feel... What is the point of doing that method when certain cars like the Mclaren F1 just don't reach that 241 MPH mark, which is upsetting.. I know the car takes awhile, but meh.. come on now. Some of the new dlc cars they have been letting loose have been doing pretty good so far, to me that is. The new scion tc is not that far off from the actual vehicle, being that I took one for a test drive because I was not a scion fan and my friend changed my mind. I think the thing Forza really lacks is in depth tuning, If the game had more detail in that form, I don't think the leaderboards would be so, how should I say? Always this one to three cars dominating. Now, if we ignore the fact of how you can launch the AWD cars and actually launch them on a realistic term, I would say the STI's & Evo's are on point unless someone feels different about it. The Buggati however, is another story.. and I'm not even going to go into that. I'm going to stop here for now, lol... I can go on for about a year explaining Forza and its little ups and downs, but.. in all honesty, The physics are not that bad... They just need to go into more detail. I want to tune my boost, the AYC in the Evo GSR's, Weight balance, More engine swaps, Better damage etc... I will say one thing, one guy asked me about a month ago, How come forza will not allow engine blows during races? That's a very simple one, Think about the license they have and how some car companies would feel if there cars engine destroyed itself before the other companies? Ferrari: Oh, so you want to blow my engine if I go all out for 5 minutes while the Nissan is still going? I see what you did there. Meh, Add me on live and when I get some free time, I will gladly break the game down for you, but again restating and getting back into what you originally asked. I would say some of the vehicles are close when it comes to actually achieving certain times on courses stock, but.. When you race those cars next to their rivals, things just don't see to work out... Oddly. GT: TB InuYasha X Bio: Complaining and racing on Forza since day 1. xD |

The AW11 is nice and all, but it behaves nothing at all like it does in real life. The rear tires rarely ever break grip if you let off the throttle during hard cornering, which is hilarious. In real life, the same situation would result in snap oversteer. |

I can toss them around damn well for what they are in game based on how they drive IRL. 'Scary' and 'uncanny' have been used by various friends to describe it. |

GT5 did a better job. FD handles like a sack of soaked dicks in FM4. I like the car selection in GT5 more than FM4, because I'm more of a fan of 20 year old shitty Japanese cars. I don't really care about ferraris and shit. |

I want to put a 3-rotor in EVERYTHING This post has been edited by Yoshida Seiji on Apr 26 2012, 08:22 AM |

Yeah, I'm pretty much sick of all these 2010+ Cars being released, I don't mind them... It's just, I want more of the 90's Japanese cars... x_x;

ShiMACHaze Group: Advanced Members Posts: 19,542 Member No.: 5,394 Joined: Feb 5th 2005 Location: Drydock | I would have cared more about GT5 had it included more cars I cared about rather than fifty million of the same exact car (can't you just have one and just...tune it/mod it?) and had the few cars I did care about been more than just a 1:1 copy of GT4. I already own GT4. I'm not going to buy GT5 just to play GT4 again. Then Forza comes in and shows off how awesome all of its cars are, has cars I actually give a damn about, has an editing engine that doesn't suck dicks and is actually fun to play. Holy shit! Anyway, does anyone know of a racing/driving game that simulates an automatic transmission properly? At least some games have the decency to call it 'shift assist' instead of automatic, 'cause it sure as hell ain't automatic. |

Please marry me. And honestly, for all the niggling little issues I have with this game, most of them are cancelled out by having an SA22C.
