Grand Valley speedway east? do you mean speedway, or east?

i'm assuming you mean east for now, hopefully thats what u meant...

[Edit] I also assumed it was a 5 sec lead overall, but now I'm not sure, is it 5 secs per race?

It is Grand Valley east... and only the last race (SSR5) needs to have the 5 second lead.

Okay, thanks for clearing it up,

and the results for the second challenge are:

Midfield: 3'01.641, +7 seconds lead
GVSE: 2'41.595, +0.6 seconds lead.
SSR5: 3'28.142, +7 seconds lead.

Thus, the Yakuzas were left far behind. I just hope that rest of you will manage as well. pictures to come later..

How about a proper results table for the first round (with the last two of us in), and a proper deadline for the second one? It would be nice to see where we stand and when the times must be submitted to avoid "having tryst" due to a heavy lack of information.

Well, seems I didnt get away, despite thrashing Clarkson's times... guess the Yakuza thought BMW's would catch me, so they could pummel my handsome face, rather than fat man's damn

well, since even Hamster can't outrun the Yakuza, i guess Tiff and Shafz can't either xD

The Yakuza know my Carlton is harder to catch than a Lancer or Impreza, so they sent their M3's

Maybe to get out of being killed I'll join the Yakuza better start running...

Actually, there were two NSX Type R's, R34 GT-R's, Lancer Evo VI's and even couple musclecars ( horrid looking pink GTO and bright green Charger, and Chevelle as well), but my modern V8 with it's AWD traction beat them both in straights and corners.. oh, did I mention that before the challenge started, I had some driving lessons from a guy who always wears green racing suit? I think his name was "dorikin" or something?

I went up against th M3's, Superbird, Charger, Lotus Esprit, and thats about it

I still dont know what the Yakuza are going to do to me, they have just been standing around, leaning on their M3's talking.

So how DID they stop you exactly? Roadblock? Cos it sounds like you could sneakily steal one of their cars or something...

After the race, they suddenly cut me off, and blocked me into a side road

Maybe I should try ramming them with my Carlton Beemers aint got nothing on my 1655kg sledgehammer

Challenge 2B

Be careful, the Yakuza has just gotten even more enraged after hearing that some managed to escape. Because of that, they have gotten more rash, hence you have to fight your way through these locations...

Difficulty 4, two laps

-Seoul Central Normal
-Hong Kong Normal
-Seattle Circuit Reverse (Just picture out as Japan)

This time, get serious, and fight your way through. There's no time lead this time round. So long you get aggressive and prove worthy that the Yakuza underlings chasing get afraid, they will back off. The car might get dents and so on, but due to the management's fault, they will compensate by providing free repair (Meaning free body refresher) and oil change. Get moving, the Yakuzas are not going to quit! Post overall times and pictures... The management had managed to rig your cars with cameras to see the action and proof...*

It seems like our Japan trip took a turn for the worse, when all of a sudden a few cars surrounded my Evo 6.
In my passenger seat I had Traction Monster industries top driver, why he hitched with me instead of with the truck carrying his car is beyond me... Anyway, onto the story which shocked me a bit.


The Yakuza seemed to come out of nowhere and well, they tried to surround my Evo 6...
Well I didn't know it was Yakuza at first before that Traction Monster driver mentioned it and pointed out that they were packing weapons, after that he told me to floor it and get this Evo moving.


It didn't take long to take out their leader, the raw sheer power of the Evo 6 quickly put me at his tail followed by some quick manoeuvring I got on his side and had the inside line for the corner, as a result I left him in the dust.


After nabbing the lead this was the last they would ever see of my Evo 6 RS TME as I disappeared in the distance shortly afterwards with screams of 4WD.

End result? 2'55.186 with a DNF for the Evo 2 that had the lead, in fact I don't know how far he was behind me as I crossed the finish line as he never got a finish time AT ALL!

Outrun 1? Complete success.


The Yakuza didn't give up either, and when they showed up again the Traction Monster guy got annoyed and told me to move over the passenger seat.
I think it had something to do with the fact that he knew this course fairly well and that he was starting to get annoyed with them.
Anyway, the poor Evo was now practically flying, it may be old and outdated technologically but he sure drove the guts out of this thing and had me cringing to my seat as he drove at speeds that are WAY out of my capacity.


After the Yakuza showed up, he started passing them as they tried to block him in, all failed at that, however that yellow FD caught his eye for some reason and as he passed him I could see him shaking a fist at its driver, clearly they knew each other I guess.


Lead was nabbed rather quickly and the gang desperatly tries to catch up to the Evo, although ultimately failing.

Oil-changing a used car once makes it healthy and up to full power again. Which is allowed from the start. But when you oil change it again, you get nothing, if MINIMAL bhp gains. Just be thankful your car is new, and gains an advantage from oil

You may have escaped the yakuza Clarkson, but you won't escape the unfortunate fire accident your car was unfortunately involved in...

*Pulls out of hotel car park*

Mmhmm, but some of these cars, like certain Lotus, has more power and torque than mine, which gives bit of an advantage there, and no drivetrain loss due RWD layout.. oh well, fastest ( or fattest) man wins. Now excuse me, I have an oilchange to do.

I hope that James won't end up being sliced to sushi style..

oh, there seems to be a fire in the neighbouring hotel. I wonder if fifth gear is playing with fire again?
