It turned out xiao was repeatedly stalking a musician, to the point of getting a restraining order filed against him. He kept going after that, forcing the musician to go public about the stalking and harassment. Following that, he eventually contacted the musician yet again despite being entirely unwelcome at that point. So yeah, he got banned from the Discord and largely disappeared from the internet afterwards. Did attempt to come back to the Discord with obvious alt accounts though, much like all the alt accounts he'd been making before all this came to light. Turns out him repeatedly coming to the IDW Discord with new accounts was solely to circumvent bans and blocks elsewhere. So tl;dr: xiao did a no-no, was given multiple chances to stop doing a no-no, kept going anyway, got yet another chance after the truth came out, messed that up too, and lost everyone's trust for good.

I've been out of the loop for a while, but I hope to rejoin soon. If I do, I'll share my experiences. But, we already knew xiao operated on a different level. I guess xiao was really into that musician's music. However, I feel like if you really like someone then you gotta also be considerate of that person's feelings, see things from that person's perspective, and if that person doesn't want to get closer, then you should just admire from afar. After all, sometimes the closer you get things don't always get better. But, yeah, I think it's unfortunate that the law was involved. I hope xiao is ok.
