Initial D World - Discussion Board / Forums > Artworks and Graphics > Time for a new portfolio

Posted by: r3d$unz Oct 1 2012, 07:09 PM
For those that know I've had an old portfolio site (essential being I;m a graphic designer) running for a few years, the domain ran out and I never renewed it, so I figured now would be a good time to start afresh and just rehaul everything.

I think I'm gonna go for a minimalist approach, my old portfolio felt too busy, even if there wasn't much going on and wasn't really portraying who I am and what my aesthetics are, I feel like a minimalist approach would be ideal.

So here is my new logo, something simple and dynamic. Just wanted to get your thoughts on it and see if I'm headed in the right direction

I like it. Could you clarify the elements though?

My name is Chris P. The symbol in the middle is my initials, the circle was to close out the elements, I gave each element a rounded edge to give it a more flowing feel.

The initials are a little hard to make out, but it's a cool logo.

I kinda figured that was it, now that you've spilled it it's obvious.

I've always been a bit of a minimalist at heart, so I like how simple and clean it is.
