Initial D World - Discussion Board / Forums > Initial D Extreme Stage > Question after beating the game

Ok so I just beat the game. What is that thing after you beat Bunta that says Yes/No? I ask this because after the credits roll, LoTs starts over again and all my X's of characters I beat are gone, there were maybe 3 guys I wanted to X that I didn't finish. Is this normal that the game erases the opponents you defeated after you beat the game? I would think you would get some kind of star on your save file that proves you beat the game. Do you get anything special for beating the game?

If you pick yes you start over again. If you pick no all your opponents that you unlock are still there and you can battle them over over again. And also it tell you that you've just defeated all of you opponent in your id when you race online

If you pick no and race against opponents in wet/dry again, you have a chance to unlock more stuff for your character.

Where does it show that you beat all your opponents when you race online? Is it a symbol or something?

Ok so this sucks, apparently by saying 'Yes' after you beat the game, it also erases the areas you cleared on your player card as well. Thanks for the info though. happy.gif

i'm not to sure but i think that your card should show how many times you beat the game.

Can you change the wet/dry settings?

I thought that when you start over again after beating the game that the difficulty level of the opponents is increased by 1 level, or is this just the case in the arcade version?

I didnt find the game much harder. It was just every course, the weather was opposite of what it was in round 1.

It just allows you to unlock all the characters again and get more points for each race because after racing the same guy multiple times, the points you get from him decrease

Posted by: imprezagc8 Mar 5 2009, 12:20 PM
really? when i was tuning my car all i did was race takumi on tsukuba all the time. 10.000+ points!

Posted by: MzdaspD Mar 5 2009, 03:42 PM
really? I noticed that I kept getting less and less points the more I raced the same guy haha

Posted by: imprezagc8 Mar 6 2009, 02:40 AM
i don't think that you should get less points. i'll go see later

unlock all avatars by just keep playing...go online man

unlock all female avatars: beat LoTS with male (including Xing out all rivals)
unlock all male avatars: beat LoTS with female (same as above)

you can also...FT all cars...do TA and try to get top records...level up online to SS...I dunno, you can't really complete this game...its like home version arcade

You have to do a lot more to unlock all the avatars. You also have to play with different cars on all the TA courses including wet/dry and direction. I think you may have to do it with 3 different cars. It's been a while so I don't remember exactly.

I've heard of Wangan Midnight: Maximum Tune 3 and seen it in the local arcade, but what exactly is it? Isn't it racing on streets with traffic at top speeds?

Do you play Initial D: Extreme Stage?
