I don't get this.
Is it some kind of a special CD with extra long gaps?


For my rips I use the macOS version of XLD, with the stock preconfigured settings.

you're supposed to click "gap detection" before creating cues and starting the Copy & Test

Use "Test and copy" !!!!

In the log file you have a whole bunch of different attempts. And it should be one log, one shot at this.

I re-installed EAC and followed the guide you linked me to the T. I'll rip the CD one more time, and hopefully there won't be anymore problems. ^^; I'll post another Wetransfer link once it's done.

I was wondering why I couldn't find the gap dectection option the first couple times I ripped the CD, but it turns out I can't do the setup wizard because it will put you in "Beginner mode", and it apparently disables certain options.

Yeah, It does that process as soon as I hit open CD. It's great.

While I'm waiting for the album to rip, I have another request, but I don't think anyone is going to have a copy because this one is ABSOLUTELY RARE. So much so, it doesn't even have a Discogs page for it.

There's an album series called ParaParaCollection, and it sounds a lot like the Digibeat music catalogue.

So far theres no evidence of the CDs just the VHS tapes which are all over and available.

That sucks. Oh well, I can probably just rip the audio from the link and try to make them into mp3 files or something.

Also, slight update; I tried seeing if I could get PPH-BPME Vol. 4 on Amazon, but none of the sellers will ship outside Japan. Thankfully, the sellers on Discogs are somewhat reasonable with the price (they want $30 before shipping), but it'll probably be a month before I try to import the album.

Vol. 3 is still a no-go; they still want $122-$250 on Discogs. :/

I own the CDs so I know they exist. There are also pictures of the CDs even on Twitter, so don't say they don't exist.

Alright, hopefully, I've ripped Para Para Hi-BPM Eurobeat Vol. 2 to everyone's specifications this time. I can't say I know how to test .cue files, but as I've mentioned earlier, I re-installed EAC and made sure everything was in order, I detected the gaps, and did the test-and-copy method.

That CD is called "ParaPara Collection Club Version" and since its digibeat, I'm on it!

Found more digibeat rarities that I wanna get [PARAPARA COLLECTION KIDS VER.], if they are available on CD somewhere. Know they are digibeat by that guitar flicking sound and distinct synth riff. Likey the 4th and 5th song.

So, I just placed an order for Para Para Hi-BPM Eurobeat Vol. 4!

As I might have mentioned a while ago, the prices for this CD, while still a bit too high, is at least doable, especially compared to Vol.3 (as much as I would love to get that and make a FLAC rip for you guys, there's no way I can afford paying $200 for a CD...)

Hopefully the transaction will be painless, and the seller won't take a week to respond to my inquiry like the last guy did. X_X

And before you guys ask, I have almost zero interest in Vol.1. Why? Because 98% of the tracklist are SEB covers, and there *might* only be 2 original songs? On the other hand, it's the cheapest of the 4 CDs, but I think that one would probably be a waste of money to me.

~Vol. 4 is like a mystery, I don't recognise any of the artists. Maybe "Dino" is an early alias for "Dino Starr", just a guess..
These are made by Japanese artists, KING RECORDS - Japanese label which was established in 1931...
