Whenever I start the car from a cold start It'll turn over just fine, but with rx7's that are supposed to idle at 700 rpms, it'll die. Granted as long as I pump the gas once It'll idle after a while and It'll be fine. I was just curious as to what you guys thought was going on. Sounds like one of my spark plugs is out. Also, this only happens from a cold start. |

I just had to mention this, although only people who know cars will appreciate it: At my work, a customer once said "Ever since you guys put a new idler arm in my car, my car won't idle." |

I think I may know what went wrong, the third month I had it, I accidentally stalled(for some reason I was driving with boots on, which I never do) I wasn't thinking, turned the keyed foward and cranked on the starter. Well car wouldn't start after that. I had to push start it in reverse to get it going. Afterwards it worked fine and then the idling problem started to occur. |

You really shouldn't let them run for any less than five minutes or so. Or until it's warmed up. As for your idle issue. Check the link Backalleyracer posted. It's good stuff. |
