I have a G4 Powerbook with OS X 10.3.9. The thing cannot connect to the internet wirelessly. My PC tower has a Netgear adapter and gets excellent signal. The Mac (that's in the same room as the PC) can't connect at all. No network is even showing up. Rebooted/switched on and off AirPort endlessly to no effect. Any suggestions? I tried getting the latest software from Apple, but I can't tell which one to get for the AirPort Extreme card, not base station.

Nevermind. I fixed it. You can dispose of this now wink2.gif

You can actually close your own threads, or if you really want it disposed of you can report it and get a mod's attention.

I'm actually curious what the problem/solution ended up being.

For whatever reason, in the TCP/IP section, DHCP configuration was turned off. I never changed that, but the moment it went from off to DHCP, I got an IP address/picked up the signal. Just something simple I overlooked I guess.

EDIT: oh now I see where to delete the thread.
