When trying to use the "view all posts by this member" function, on users with an excessive amount of posts, the search crashes or takes an excessive amount of time.

Might want to get on that.

Might want to get on that.

It only seems to be a problem on the two top posters, BOZZ and myself. Neither of us are active, so it doesn't seem to be a big deal.

At least it's not the old problem of getting faulty search results on anyone with over 10K posts. biggrin.gif

It's very funny you mention this, I just did this exact thing last week, but since I was on an iPhone, I thought it was just the lack of connection speed. You two really have posted enough to break the server, that's quite an accomplishment, I'd say! laugh.gif

Well, you could actively fix half of that problem. wink2.gif

It still takes a bitching long time for those of you who have a lot but not enough to crash.

For the ludicrously high post counts, why would you want to look at every single post in the first place?

I'll look into it, but I still have to chuckle at the notion that somebody would seriously want to rifle through 30,000 posts. Wouldn't it just be easier to search?

Yes and no. The Post Search uses the Search function.

It's funny this thread shows after I encounter the same issue. I saw a new post from Moby and went to see if he had posted anything else recently, then got denied. I wouldn't be surprised if someone else got this error the same way.

Why people want to look at my posts I have no idea. I never post anything interesting...
