Mob's brother Ritsu, gets kidnapped by this organization called "Claw" thinking that Ritsu is Mob. Mob with the help of Teruki "Teru" Hanazawa and this spirit named Dimple, they plan to break out Ritsu and the other kidnapped kids with psychotic powers (Takeshi Hoshino, Rei Kurosaki, Kaito and Daichi Shiratori and Gou Asashi). Ritsu however had his own plans to break out with the other kids so they managed to break themselves out of their cells, easily defeated three lackeys watching them, save Daichi (I believe it was him) and leave Claw's building, but before that stuff, one of the members of Claw locate Mob and Teru, but he's easily defeated, they go where Ritsu and the others are being held hostage, they defeat the first Claw member and two security guards which Dimple possesses one of them. So Mob and Teru defeat the guards and a few Claw members while they're separate but they get caught, Ritsu, gets separated from the other hostages, so he could fight against Sho Suzuki, but of course Ritsu gets defeated, Dimple also gets defeated as he gets trapped into a jar by a Claw member. The three are put in some of cell where they can't use their powers. Reigen, Mob's mentor and boss, goes to Claw's building and the guards are so stupid, they think he's an associate of Claw's 7th Division leader, so Reigen frees Mob, Ritsu and Teru and gets caught by the four remaining 7th Division members, So Mob Ritsu, Teru and Reigen fight the remaining four, but Reigen takes the three of them down thanks to Mob's power, the 7th Division leader gets defeated, and the three remaining surrender thinking how weak they are.

After that fiasco, Mob and Ritsu go to school together, Mob accidently bends his spoon with telepathic powers again but Ritsu fixes it thanks to new found powers, Ritsu and the Student Council president Shinji Kamuro reconcile, while apologizing to a school delinquent Onigawara for framing him for something he didn't do.

After that, Mob and Reigen are hunting for this secret animal that was sighted, but Reigen just collects mushrooms, but then a large animal appears which Mob defeats easily, Reigen collects more mushrooms, and both of them leave.
