If that's your conclusion then you're a bit of a fool because a little bit of reading comprehension would have net you some bits of information that I'm now going to force feed you- The first few Tokyopop manga and DVDs carried many of the promo cards. The only other way to get a complete collection of these is to have gotten one from a sanction tournament promotion (EXCESSIVELY RARE considering the game died shortly after it was born) or buy booster boxes till you turn blue (the 86 promo is extremely hard to find as I have gone through 8 booster boxes and found only one of the promotional DVD version). I have a nearly complete set made whole by lurking ebay until someone sold a booster box or near complete sets. The active members on this forum probably won't be selling them or know someone who is selling the promos because it's a dead card game, out of print and in low demand, and to add to that, the cards you look for are extremely hard to find even within the community that used to collect this game. A person who got one of these may not even know what they had and might have thrown it away when they bought the items they came with making these even rarer. They're not worth a lot of money so there's no motivation to put them up for sale.

I repeat- we have no motivation for any of us to find these cards for you or for anyone who has them to come out of the woodwork because of some obscure thread. We gave you all the information we have. You will actually have to look for them in odd places and do... <GASP> work.

Pretty harsh, but I can't say I disagree with it. cool.gif

Hi J,

First of all I would like you to TAKE BACK your calling word "FOOL" in your rude reply. Your reply speech tell a thousand words on the projected image of yourself.
Please don't be, as you named it for yourself!

I wouldn't have started this thread in this particular forum unless I know there're many ppl here who are REAL helpful, unlike yourself, though you claimed you are. Unless you're telling me everyone here in this forum behaves just like you which I STRONGLY DO NOT THINK SO, otherwise I wouldn't be getting help from here at all?

MORE IMPORTANTLY, please do not speak on behalf of others in this forum as if everyone active in this thread share the SAME THOUGHTS and REACTION like how you've expressed in your reply. You kept repeating "WE" in your reply

I'm only asking if anyone in this forum, BY ANY CHANCE, that should they want to pass on or give up their collection for certain reason. But everyone here has every rights to keep it which I"M PERFECTLY FINE with it. And you can keep yours too.

I do not wish to see this thread become a DEBATE over other matters than it's original intention. You can choose to reply with REAL HELPS otherwise would appreciate if you could remain as silent viewer over your abusive words. Your words exposed your displayed character. I end my case.

I was trying to help you. You're just too much of an idiot to realize that the easiest way to find the cards you are asking for are through the channels I told you about. I said the active members probably won't be selling them or have any motivation to do so. I never said "HAI GAIYZ!!! DON'T TRADE OR FIND THIS GUY CARDS!!! KEKEKEKEKEKK!" I iterated that you're probably wasting your time here and could be out hunting for the sources of the cards... WHICH I GAVE YOU. HOW THE f**k IS THAT NOT BEING USEFUL!? Nothing about that statement was false. If you want to be a dick about advice you don't have to take then go f**k yourself. Bite the hand that feeds you the information you asked for. Go ahead. Throw a tantrum because you're butthurt that it's just easier to go out and find these cards yourself which I recommended. Your response to my post makes me wonder why the f**k anyone would want to help your dumb ass when you attack me for no reason other than stating the truth.

If anyone thinks DC5_998 was being an ungrateful person, communicate your displeasure over PM. It is not a warnable offence if someone is being ungrateful, and certainly not an open invitation for flaming.

Sorry about that word rampage. I know I had that warn coming. I just really don't like telling people the easiest solution to their problem and then having it thrown back in my face as being deemed useless and abusive despite the fact that I've done before what this guy wants to do. He thought I was being abusive by helping him. I figured he should see what actually being abusive looked like.

But fine. If sitting on he virtual equivalent of the street corner on IDW begging for someone to trade or sell difficult to find merchandise is what you want to do go ahead.

If you're at all interested. Easiest solution- buy unopened DVD cases #1-5 from Tokyopop or buy like a 14 USD box of initial D boosters. Then buy volumes 1-11 shrink wrapped Manga from Tokyopop. MOST of the promo cards you're looking for can be found there. Also check to make sure all those promos even made it into circulation because some may never have made the final print for tournament promos.

Sorry about that word rampage. I know I had that warn coming.  I just really don't like telling people the easiest solution to their problem and then having it thrown back in my face as being deemed useless and abusive despite the fact that I've done before what this guy wants to do.  He thought I was being abusive by helping him.  I figured he should see what actually being abusive looked like...

To clarify, I've NEVER BEEN UNGRATEFUL or SNUBBED any SINGLE HELPS that came to this thread. In fact, I've PM them on separate occassions thanking them for taking time to view and their effort to reply back, which they're NOT AT ALL obligated to do so for me. Please read back my earlier replies. I've also tried all methods advised and those which member "J" mentioned. However they're NOT AVAILABLE at the market or through the internet since it's a total lost and discontinued collector card item.

My last resort would be through this forum via word of mouth and hoping for any possibility for anyone who might likely want to pass on or let someone who would appreciate these cards to have it. I defintely do not need any ABUSIVE language reply like from member "J".

And I'm referring to "J" ONLY. I want make it clear that I've NOT made any reference to any other SINGLE ACTIVE MEMBERS HERE in any ungrateful or snubbed manner. Please read my earlier comments. I only mentioned that "J" should not be speaking on behalf of other active members as referring to "WE" in his reply speaking for others wo consent.

I would appreciated "J" could have PM me instead if he feel otherwise. There's no need to bring it to open discussion for anyone to misunderstand what's communicated here.

And to "J", your advise could have come more GENTLEMANLY. But today you shown your most unsightly side of yourself. I fully understand you had a very hard time looking for those cards for yourself. But that does not mean one has to go through what you went through the hard way. So what is this INITIAL D forum for, is it not to provide some short-cut advise or some easier solution if possible? I thought "J", you would be the best person to understand my position after going through this same journey yourself, isn't it?

I will not be replying this discussion any further, not at least getting another abusive reply from "J" again. But I hoped I've made my clarification clear cos I do not wish any further misunderstanding from anyone here.

Last to "J", you showed yourself what a CHARACTER you had displayed for yourself to the forum here. Please don't be, PLEASE.

I WILL NOT BE ASKING FOR ANY FEE - IT"S COMPLETELY 100% FREE. ALL CARDS ARE AS GOOD AS NEW! No kidding.

Anyone interested you can send me a PM and i'll make the arrangement. The cards are not heavy so need not expensive post cost I believed.

This is to benefits the forum members here, NOTHING MORE. Just maybe after you received back the package you could give me a "Thank YOU" reply here back on the forum.

I'm curious: what are the actual stats of the Trueno 86 DVD edition?
